DANCIN'ON MY LAWN!!!
A couple of days ago my lawn was the lushest tuftiest (like a Bay City Roller...for those of us who were there!) greenest tender-underfootiest, mooshy-squooshy, green, green grass of home lawn. There were these little daisies all over it and of course some dandelions-rawwrrr....in a good way. Babboo had to use the weedwhacker to take it down, but for a little while we had quite the meadow. AHHHH..spring is sprung.
Tomorrow is Beltaine, or May Day. It is special because it falls right between the Spring Eqinox and the Summer Solstice. I found this little Mother Goose ditty and I think it will be my meditation for the week:
For every evil under the sun
There is a remedy, or there is none.
If there be one, try and find it.
If there be none, never mind it.
(Seems like the least we can do!)
I am currently learning things about essential oils so that I can use them with my mandala workshops. I found a company that I really believe in, and I am really taking in a lot of information at this point. I know that using them in the meditations I do when I create the personalized mandalas, helps open my senses. I took some peppermint to NIA class with me, and put some on my back right over my kidneys. I feel like I really push my system sometimes, and I have NO TIME for adrenal fatigue-which I think everyone suffers from to one degree or another...peppermint oil is a great purifier, and I felt as if it cooled off my chi in that area. I have been drinking wolfberry juice (NINXIA RED-which we have nicknamed- "hippie red bull" but It doesn't have any of the Red-Bull&^%*#) and it is a powerful anti-oxidant, and has all kinds of good stuff in it for cleansing your liver and kidneys. Who couldn't use that! I have six more weeks of class left, so I need to be as good to my body as I can!
There is this Raindrop Technique using nine different oils from the feet to the top of the head that I am going to look into next. I cannot believe the amount of amazing things there are to learn!!! This truly is the school of life! Go learn something and report back to me!!!
