Children!!!

How are you doing?  I hope you have been having as good a time as I have...I was looking at my last entry way back in early September...and then I realized that I had stashed a part of an entry in the "save as draft" place...weeks ago...and then...here it is WEEKS LATER!   and oh what weeks they have been!

Looking back through my posts I realized that when I wrote the post about remembering Jerry Garcia that it was in the morning of the 10th.  That evening I went to a wine tasting where they were paying tribute with a little Willamette (like "dammit") Valley wine known as Grateful Red.  Since it is blocks from my humble abode, I went with a friend and imbibed and as I was talking to the girl pouring about being an astrologer and an artist she invited me to hang my work there!!!  THANK YOU, JERRY!!!  I am still getting miracles!

I got the show up last week and can I just say-WOW---It's been a while since I have shown my work anywhere besides Saturday Market.  I might just get serious about this art stuff after all!  What fun.  I went to the wine tasting last Friday with some friends to go see it and can I just say...soaked up the sunshine!!!  

The show will be up through the next "First Friday Artwalk"on October 5...and if you want to perhaps meet the artist...it is Monroe Street Cafe between 11th and 12th right here in Blue Jean Eugene...the wine tasting starts at 6pm every Friday!

     How are you all feeling today?  This morning was a powerful New Moon Eclipse in Virgo which included a Mutable Grand Cross...do you know where you stand on the issues of the past?

This is pretty much all the further I got before life hit WARP SPEED!

One of the churches that I pass by regularly has had a sign up that reads something to the effect of:

     "Faith is believing in God even if your questions go unanswered."

This has really struck me as one of the fundamental differences between their belief system and mine.  If I had one of those signs mine might say something more to the tune of:

             "Faith is believing there is ALWAYS an answer-

                     even if it's not the one you want to hear."

Access to the Answers is there for the Asking...prepare to take Action!!!

First Order of Business...

 Happy Happy 18th Birthday THING ONE!!!

Your Mama LOVES YOU!!!

Perhaps that is why I was dreaming of a party at the home of the girl who owns the store Sweet Potato Pie---with the band CAKE there playing for all of us!!!  

The dream was REALLY complex and there was a lot going on so bear with me as I recall what I can...

As I said, I was at Elizabeth's and was in the kitchen cooking (as usual) for everyone.  At times during the whole dream I was naked, in a t-shirt and underwear, in Baboo's robe, or fully clothed...always changing.  Who knows why.  So, I could hear the band in the other room and I was feeling like I wanted to finish cooking and go in there...then one of the guys came in and I said "do you want to eat?" and he said that they were going to order in...yay---I didn't have to cook any more and could enjoy the party with the rest of the kids!  

Then at some point I went out to our car with Baboo...as if to leave, (and I thought there was someone else with us).  We ended up sleeping in the car for a while (damn hippies!) and then I realized that I wanted to get the autographs of the guys in the band, so I went back into the house which was now quiet.  When I went in there were a couple of people up and decorating some cupcakes with snowmen and getting ready for what appeared to be Christmas, so I started to help them...then the kids started stirring and we were again beginning to celebrate. 

I realized that Thing 2 would be disappointed if I didn't get the autographs from the band so I asked them to sign some for me.  I didn't have anything to write on, but then I realized that they could put their autographs on some of my zodiac mandala cards (which I usually carry with me just in case.)  They really liked the cards and we had a big discussion about them and album cover art...etc.  (co-incidently they are on Capricorn Records...maybe I should contact them-lol)

The whole thing was amazing and I remember in detail so much of what was going on.  All of the celebration has got to be a good sign!!

I believe I CAN have some CAKE and MEET them TOO!!!

It's a Sweet Life!!!  Celebrate something!

Goodness Gracious Children,  What a summer it has been!  Here it is Labor Day and I am feeling like WHEW!!! I can catch my breath. 

    The planet Saturn which is the planet of truth and restriction-(and also rules my sun sign Capricorn) has been in Leo for quite some time.  Leo, the sign of Personal Freedom is not always Saturn's favorite-yes, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but all play and no work makes him a hungry one (with a messy house--ask me how I know!)  So now, Saturn is moving into Virgo---the sign of Service and Health-a sign that likes regimen and order (it is said that Virgo is the sign of the Perfectionist).  The next two years of this placement should see us really putting the nose to the grindstone and making progress towards our goals that involve TAKING CARE OF EACH OTHER!!!  I'm ready!

     I have been fortunate this summer to have manifested a great place from which to share my healing arts with others and am really ready to get down to business!!  Thing One turns 18 this week, they both go back to school this week, and I am looking forward to having the computer back on a more regular basis, as well as being home a little more often to keep you alerted when magic is afoot.  Being involved with Reiki and Angelic healings on a daily basis makes my life even MORE in tune...not that I was doing so bad before!  All I can see for the future is ONWARD AND UPWARD!!

     The latest entry in my dream journal pretty much says it all.  Early in the morning of Sept. 1 I had a dream that I was in my back yard (the Garden of Fountain) and I was near the gate that leads to the front yard.  I heard a song coming from outside of the garden-something about "when Allah smiles..." and I opened the gate to see where it was coming from.  As I did so the Sun shone even brighter and I remembered thinking that it was from "Blues for Allah" by the Grateful Dead.  (It's not really, but...you know how dreams are.)  I do not have a copy of Blues for Allah (I'm a bootlegger by trade) so I looked up the info on the web.  To my delight I found out that this album (yes-ALBUM!) had been originally released on SEPTEMBER 1st, 1975!  I can't help but think that it is a good sign that Allah decided to enter the Garden of Fountain on the same day that the Sun moved into Virgo.  Happy ME!

So, my little Amoebites...as this new work ethic kicks into gear, think about what it is that we do, and how we can change even the littlest things to include sharing and caring for those around us.  Our future on this ball of dirt depends on our cooperation.   Play Fair.

Happy Monday as the Sun prepares to leap over into Virgo during this week, we're heading for a little more structure.  Whew---those Leos sure do know how to enjoy summer!  

     This past Saturday, after a successful first day at Shambala, I treated Babboo and Thing 2 to "the Floydian Slips" show at the Cuthbert Amphitheater.  I was truly impressed and just thoroughly enjoyed myself down to the DNA.  Joy.  Hope you had a great weekend as well.

     Meanwhile, back in "reality" I feel like I am really examining the difference between living a conscious or unconscious life.  Today it appears to simply be whether or not you realize that it has ALWAYS been your CHOICE.  

Then who am I to blame?

      Good Morning my little Blippity-Bloggees....Here it is Friday and I marginally accomplished a few things that moved me forward in time...however I forsee in my near future a weekend filled with putter. 

     So-in a bit of a fog after some energy work on my lungs and shoulders I drifted through yesterday on memories of our beloved Jerry and had a smooth sailing type day.  It is hard for me to believe that a dozen years have gone by...reminds me that our time here truly is precious---and that no time is ever truly wasted. 

     Yesterday I got a sign that Jupiter is back in the game...The planet of Luck and Expansion is moving forward, meaning that some of the ideas that seem to have been lying dormant are rising from their resting places and getting ready to become the NEXT opportunity for us.  Hooray---just in time for back to school-when the homesteaad falls under a more disciplined routine. (***insert whip crack here***)  YAY.

     The effect that I am getting from Jupiter's direct motion is an opportunity to move my practice to a storefront in a little metaphysical shop that just moved from downtown.  In one of those poetic random moments where I was directed (by street construction) to take 13th instead of 18th and drive past the shop who had a sign out front...INQUIRE WITHIN...SO-I did.  Looks like a good next step...one that I have been holding out for...I'm taking it!

     The answer always comes.

Mood:  a-ok

     Hi Y'All!!!   How have you been?  I have been having a GREAT time learning ALL KINDS of new tricks, meeting new folks, going new places and just generally having a GREAT SUMMER!

     Yesterday was the birthday of my big Leo Lion boy, Babboo...MEOW!  We went for a romp with the dogs by the river, and walked a nice trail on the skirts of town, then met downtown for some fancy cocktails at a new place on Broadway (You know those Leos and their star status...ruled by the SUN so they are sure that it is a spotlight on them....sigh.)

     So---there is much more to spill, perhaps I will get a moment to catch my breath and catch you up...it'll give you another something to look forward to, right?  

     Oh-BTW-Jupiter came out of retrograde on Monday...this will help us move on with our plans that seem to have been put on hold for a couple of months now...LOOK BUSY!

     And another week slips into the history books...somewhere someone is having an epic adventure while we remain here holding down the fort.  My epic adventure for this summer seems to be all about ACTUALLY owning this piece of time and space that I have chosen to inhabit in this lifetime.   I feel as though I have been learning to come down and actually be IN this body-as opposed to being in the place where I kind of just spin around about the head and shoulders and try to figure out what the hell I actually came here for. (You know, like going into the next room for something and not remembering why...)  

   Some people experience quite the opposite and are so grounded that they do not think beyond what is immediately available.  That can be a great place to be.  Bloom where you are planted, and cast your seeds into the wind...let the birds fly it high and the bees make their sweet honey.  I am guessing that true happiness is found in the in between...the place where our ideas and intentions match the physical energy required to achieve them.  It is very true that the quality of the energy that you have available comes directly from the quality of energy that you eat, live and breathe...I guess the best I can do is keep making better choices every day.  Such is the path...

     Today is the full moon in Aquarius while the sun sits in Leo.  Leo is the house of Self.  Aquarius is the house of Hopes, Wishes and Friends.  Get in touch with yours~and STEP AWAY FROM THE BOX.  Aquarius is also the sign of the UNIQUE...EXPRESS YOURSELF!!!  You ROCK!
