SO, the night before last (Sunday night, or actually Monday morning)  I had this very odd, and semi-ominous dream, that probably should have creeped me out more than it did, but I got the feeling that the only reason that it was ominous was so that I take it seriously.  I remember it in great detail and felt that it had more to do with overcoming my own fears, than with anything actually physically happening like this:  

     It looks like about sundown, and I am on the coast. The sky is a very peachy and pinky with blues and puprples just starting to come in.  I look at the west and there is a charcoal colored spot of cloud where the sun is, and a charcoal cloudy ring around it.  I look at it and realize there are rainbows the clouds, and I remember a woman named Great Bear who had smoky quartz hearts with rainbows in them and always said "even in darkness, there are rainbows."  I  am astonished, and I look the other direction and realize there is another of these formations in the sky to the East.   I am not afraid, I call them black hole suns, and I realize they are full of light.

     I realize that I am in Florence. OR, and I have a house there with Babboo.  I also realize that we live close to my "babys' daddy" and his wife, and I am over at their house picking up Thing 1 when I look outside and see water coming up from the ocean and flooding the streets.  I think to myself " I am not going to get back to my house with all of this water coming up like this.  There are people trying to move through the streets, but the water is up to their waists.  I am watching out the front door which is a typical metal front door with glass in it, and the water comes up and is pressing on the door, but not getting through it.  Then I see a fist-first it is large and like an illusion, but then it is a person's hand knocking on the door, and then both hands are rapping on the glass.  I am aghast-the water is green in color and looks more lake colored than ocean, but there are the hands-of a person-who if I open the door to save, I risk flooding the house, and losing our lives, but at the same time-is still alive.   I am brought to consciousness and out of having to watch what happens next, and  I quickly feel like this is one of my ridiculous fears of moving up to the next level...and I wonder if when opportunity to respond knocks, why I am afraid it will put me in a catch 22 situation.  This would NOT be the first time, and I can see why I would have this fear, but I also need to realize that this is not the last time-this is THIS TIME and I am different than the last time.  It is my greatest wish that I am able to save the person, and keep the house from flooding at the same time.

     For whatever reason,I think there is a part of me that feels as though while I want to open the door to the opportunity, I wonder if maybe I might be overwhelmed by the responsibility.  Then there is the part that just said "YOU SHOULD BE SO LUCKY!!!"  Fear of sucess-would I be able to handle it-or am I "too busy" already.  Try Me!

So,  Reiki last night was awesome.  I had a powerful session and released some old tension.  I went to bed early and got up and went to NIA this morning and which really encouraged my relaxation.  I had some friends over in the morning and got a lot of things taken care of this afternoon.  AHHHH.    

 The "Planeteers" are saying that Leo Sun's Trine with Pluto on the 17th us going to bring some illumination on finishing things up in order to move to the next levet; They have also noted that Mercury is going to travel and communicate with Jupiter on Friday (the 18th)-which will be all about YOUR BIG IDEAS!!! and move on to have a one on one with Saturn on Sunday (the 20th) who will make you think about what the restrictions on those same ideas might be.  This will be a positive force for figuring out your next strategy.  You may find yourself thinking about something that you had put on the back burner...bringing it back around for another consideration.  This is a planetary configuration for advancing your cause, as well as a positive influence over meeting the right people to help.

Hello there again my little Blog-nificents,    I have to take a moment tonight to be thankful.  At the beginning of this month I was dealing with one of my "core beliefs".  This pattern, that has repeated itself far too many times, was rearing it's ugly head and the way that I had dealt with it in the past had been looking like the only option.  However, something inside of me would NOT let me go there.  This time, I decided that REALLY I am doing what I need to be doing, and that dealing with this issue the same way AGAIN was not going to fix it!  I talked to a couple of friends over the course of the week and told them that I was going to change the pattern this time and actually TRUST the voice inside of me that was saying "CHANGE THIS PATTERN THIS TIME!"  BOOM!  my foot came down, and IMMEDIATELY with it came more affirmation that I was doing the right thing than I pictured could happen.  WOW-this was...WOW!  

    I can honestly say that I am not truly out of the woods yet, but I have found a path that looks promising, and have picked up some amazing support along the way-hopefully this little victory will encourage bigger and bigger ones to keep me doing what I do best...and be a light for others to follow to their own dreams.    My question for you is, if you could change one thing about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be?                OM.

Mood:  on fire

So, on Wednesday, we had the beautiful Aquarius moon in the wee hours.  I knew that it was at 3:55am (as noted on monday's blog) and my subconscious was apparently pretty excited about it-I woke up at 3:54-for no apparent reason-but I did laugh, and then I got up to look out the window (why waste the moment) to see the moon in all it's glory-BRIGHT and silvery, the back yard was fully bathed in the glow of it.  Ahhhh, a magical moment.    

There has been a whole thing about ROSES with this moon for me, and like I mentioned earlier this week, sleeping under this moon's influence has been electrically charged.  I have wanted to stay up late, (at least I have been getting some paintings done!) and when I do go to bed my body has felt like the whole thing is -well, ELECTRIC-I can feel a current running through it!  I feel really sensitive right now, but strangely it is not making me overtired, or giving me that frustrating "I can't sleep" thing.  It may have something to do with the amped up Reiki I have been doing and the new group-I am really happy about it. 

The  moon moves into Pisces now, and Pisces is really affected by the moon.  It is a time for dreaming which means sleep should be good.  I can tell you that I had a very healing dream this morning.  It had to do with a past relationship, and as I was examining some hurt from it, I caught my "reflection" (projection) in a mirror and I was VERY overweight and I realized that I had made myself unattractive in the situation and had cushioned myself to shield myself from the hurt that I had felt from the circumstances of the parting,  As soon as I flashed on that, I was able to return to a healthy body.  I'm pretty sure that is a good sign! 

This weekend looks like a HOT one.  Moon will be in Aries-which is fire-Sun is in Leo-which is fire-Mercury, Venus, and Saturn are all in Leo-more fire!  While the temperature is supposed to remain fairly cool here in the Emerald City, all over tempers could flare, situations could flare up, and the wildfires that are a part of the scenery this time of year could get a boost-do what you can to STAY COOL!

Tis the birthdate o' my big Leo Lionboy, Sweet Babboo.  For those of you who poo-poo the idea of a Lion and a Goat-this seems to be working out just fine...as I have been surrounded by Lions all of my life and have come out mostly unscathed (or "scaped" ar ar). 

Nothing that happened today lives up to yesterday's miracle show so what can I say?...Happy Birthday!  Get into your suit!  (did I say that out loud?!)  

I suppose I should mention that the Aquarius Full Moon is Weds in the wee hours (3:55 am here on the left coast).  Aquarius is about sensitivity and perception.  Aquarius moon in Leo is about self in relation to community.  What is your contribution?  What do you have that no one else can give?  How can you make it matter? You definately can make a difference.

This is a good time for making notes of your dreams.  You can use them to further your goals. Dreams during this period can be exceptionally prophetic and show you what your part is. Dreams while the moon is in Aquarius can be supercharged-Aquarius rules the electrical fields, and you may find that you are drained even after a good night's sleep.  Drink plenty of water!

At the end of the week, Mercury moves into Leo on Friday, followed by Venus on Saturday.  Get ready for center stage...it's a good time for gathering with friends, and anyone who has a big announcement will want to have an audience, so LISTEN UP!!!  or SPEAK UP as the case may be!!!

when i woke up this morning, i said "self" what are you going to do today-sunday-well-i replied-i think i will lay in bed and read the help wanted ads-get a cupajava-and then try to get stuff done around the house-when all of a sudden-$#&%$*^$-just like that- a MIRACLE OCCURRRED and me and Babboo were transported to a festival of lights, colors, and sounds! -outta the blue-who coulda knew?  Sweet Babboo-happy birthday to you...incidently-silly string-it's the cheesiest. i give grateful to my thanks.

      Having those dreams my old roommate calls "Saturday Morning Cartoons".  The ones where they keep on going and just kind of loop around back and forth in subject. 

     At some points I was at the ocean.  I was swimming and I remember Thing 2 was with me for part of it.  I remember that I swam out into the ocean and then came back to the rocky shore, and jumped off another direction and the water felt really dense.  I was not afraid, but it felt like it took longer to swim through, and was colder (but not uncomfortable) than the water around it.  I could feel the difference between it and the water as I got closer to the shore.  I knew it was very deep-I was calling it "heavy water" but not because it was radioactive or anything. I thought maybe it was the water in the "dead zone" that shows up off the coast here sometimes, but it definately felt alive. 

     The other dream I believe is compliments of Mrs-Random (www.mrs-random.blogspot.com) with all her talk of kitties and the links to the kitties pages which I was exploring last night.  (esp-"cats with attitudes")  I was in this house, that reminded me of my Great Aunt Edna's (her last name was Hagg-and she lived till she was 96-so she really WAS an "old Hagg"-except she was SUPER NICE!) and there were these kittens-very small-and we were taking care of them.  The scene kept shifting, and even back and forth to the ocean parts, and then there was this little puppy among the kittens, all wrinkly like a sharpei or something (or blooodhound?). I was walking down some stairs and this little orange kitten came bouncing down them like a ball and hit the wall at the bottom and then the floor.  I was horrified and I picked it up to see if it was okay, and it turned into some sort of flat piece of cardboard with writing on it!  I was trying to figure out how to get it back to a kitty!  I love this game!

I am not really sure how I missed posting yesterday.  Did it just disappear, was I warped right through it?  Is there hope for me yet?  I don't know! 

Good stuff happening in the business front, Dragonfly Mandala Studio is the featured business in the Lane County Microenterprise Newsletter (not to be confused with Captain Micro-Kirk's ship).  I stopped by Letterhead to see how the cards were selling (they are my biggest account to date) and they had sold at least one of almost every sign, were down to one Cancer and were OUT OF LEO's.  This is great-I was having some doubts about the pricing of them, because so many other artists are retailing theirs for what I wholesale mine for.  I do not apologize for the price difference, I cater to a unique market.  Mine have more to them and are really nice quality.  I worked hard to make them different from the rest. Doubt is what happens when we compare ourselves to others.   I am not them.   

     Another thing I have been doing lately is joining web-communities and trying to network in that way.  I think it is funny posting "my profile" and reading others.  I was struck by this one woman's that was only about one paragraph, but two sentences in she said "I suffer from depression."  and my first thought was "do you suffer from it?  Or are you enjoying it enough to make it last..."  Then I turned that on myself...what do I "suffer" from...and how can I find a way to enjoy it!   (what first!)

     It's official, my little Bloglodite Amoebites-as of Monday, July 31, 2006, I am REVEREND MANDALAFLY.  I realize that there are several of you that may think I have lost my marbles.  There are those of you who have been trying to help me find them long enough that nothing really surprises you anymore.   One of my friends expressed the fear that people might actually listen to, and perhaps take me seriously!  (Amoeba Forbid!) and two (or actually 4, as the case may be) of my friends have dibs on my services for their weddings!  What FUN!

     This week, in addition to becoming a member of the clergy, I found myself among a new circle of Reiki practitioners-something I was very involved with back in Normal. but have been missing here in Eugene.  This week I am being attuned in a new lineage and also going to be introduced to a system called Eniology-which is energy exchange in connection with astrological and astronomical data!  (you can see why I am interested)  I am always looking for ways to expand my healing and intuitive powers.  This is exciting for my mandala art!    

     Speaking of mandala art, I am putting the finishing touches on a mandala which is for the Susan G.      It's a whole new week we get to play with, and I am glad that August is finally rolling around tomorrow.  It is Lammas, which is the Wiccan/Pagan marking of the halfway point between Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox.  It is also, the anniversary of the birth of my tribal "leader" Jerry Garcia (may he jam in peace). 

     I began my week yesterday with a visit to a local Reiki group that I have known about for some time, and was finally able to go to.  HOW WONDERFUL!  For those of you who are unfamiliar, Reiki is a method of hands on energy healing.  As a practicioner, you have certain symbols which you are "attuned to" by a Reiki Master (which is what I am!)  I recieved my attunements before I moved out here almost 9 years ago, but I left my group back in the flatlands.  I am thrilled to be a part of a Reiki community again, and it was SWEET to get a treatment from others. 

     The power of Reiki has been  affirmed for me in many ways, but the best evidence I have ever got was from my son "Thing 2" when I was first attuned at the master level.  He was about 6 years old, and I was getting him ready for bed.  He bumped his knee on the dresser, and I instictively put my hands on it, mom style, and said "oh, honey, are you okay?"  and he said "WHOA!  MOM!  You've got THE FORCE!"-that was proof enough for me! 

     I met a group of really great people, and I have the opportunity to do some studies with a new system that a woman in Russia has developed.  I can't wait!

     So that said, I want you all to be aware that WEDS is going to be quite a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride day astrologically.  We have the planet of responsibility (Saturn) in the sign of personal freedom (LEO) quincunx (at an odd angle) with the planet of surprise (Uranus) in the sign of the wishy washy (Pisces-sorry to my Piscean Pals...love you!).  This is basically like having your dad say "go outside and play by MY rules which I am going to MAKE UP as I go along, and CHANGE just about everytime you figure out what they are!" (which is a lot like what it was like growing up in my house, so I think I'll be okay!)   THEN add to that the SUN in LEO which is about SELF squaring (a difficult position) JUPITER (Luck) in Scorpio (Mysticism) which is basically saying Don't Press Your Luck!  Your secrets are NOT safe today!

     I have the double bonus of having Jupiter also squaring my natal Jupiter which was retrograde (moving backwards) in Taurus (the house of money and possessions), and Saturn quincunx my natal Saturn which is in Pisces (secrets,sorrows and self undoing) and conjunct Uranus!  I'll be lucky not to land in the looney bin with this combo-oh-wait...I think I already have!

     Word to the WISEGUY:  Anything Goes!  Keep your big mouth shut!
