Hello Blog-meobites...and welcome to the other side of the Virgo Lunar Eclipse...hope you all made it through okay.  I know that the vibration of this house was pretty energized, especially since I received a new channel of Reiki energy called the "Satori" channel or channel of Divine LOVE...sigh!  I feel that it was very appropriate for the energy of this eclipse since (as I mentioned last time) it was in the house of Service and Health, and nothing fits that bill better than Reiki!

On Friday night I had my attunement into this channel, and yesterday had the class for it and got to practice it with the other three people who went through the initiation with me.  It is very soft energy, and very sweet.  I am really excited to be able to share it with my friends, clients, and family.  Of course I came home and immediately opened the "energy pyramid" in my home.  We are all pretty easy going for the most part anyway, but there was DEFINITELY a smooth and gentle vibe that Babboo, Thing One, and Leetle Dog picked up on.  Thing Two was away at "BabyDaddy's", so I'm not sure how it was for him, however things were pretty warm and fuzzy for us here. 

 So with that said, we went to bed at a fairly reasonable hour, and despite the lite brite moon, fell asleep pretty easily.  However, at about 4am I woke up and noticed that Babboo was out of bed.  It is not unusual for him to get up since he has been working nights, and his clock is a little out of whack, but usually he sleeps really hard on Saturday night as it is his only night off.  Anyway, I came downstairs and he was laying there watching hockey dvd's ("everybody's a Canadian...") and I noticed that Thing One's light was on, so I went to shut it off, and he was wide awake too!  This is a kid who can usually not make it past 11pm, but he IS a Virgo, so perhaps he was downloading the energy of the beacon which was at that point shining into our bedroom windows...I went back to sleep pretty easily, so I'm not sure how much longer they were awake. I just know that SOMETHING was definitely energizing this planet.  Anyone else have any stories?  Please share!

As for what it all means?  At this point I am still processing, but as I get insights, you will be the first to know...I hope you will do the same for me, your fearless leader of the Amoebite movement.

Darlings....

    Mandalafly has her wings-a-flappin' a million miles a minute right now.  I am really involved in a number of things, and it seems that all of the effort that I have been putting into networking is really beginning to pay off-but requires more and more of my time to respond-leaving Mandalablog on the back burner at times-sigh-but this is what I have been wishing for-nice to see it manifesting!!!  (The UNIVERSE DOES PROVIDE!!!)

     Anyway-I wanted to touch base with you about today's Saturn-Neptune Opposition which is a push-me-pull-you (remember Dr. Doolittle?) ride through Reality vs. Fantasy.  We have Saturn in Leo, where it is a bit uncomfortable-since Leo is the sign of personal freedom and Saturn is the planet of RESTRICTION.  Then Neptune is in Aquarius which is the sign of the UNIQUE and Neptune is the planet of Illusions and Mysticism-creating an aura of Fantastical Flights of Fancy.  WOO HOO-you know how I love that!  (But Saturn is my ruling planet...ugh!)

     This is the second of three Saturn-Neptune oppositions.  The first was at the end of August-beginning of September last year-within a month of a solar eclipse.  Think about what was happening then.  What have you put into place as far as your dream scheme since then...what do you still need to work on?  This one is like a checkpoint-and the third will be happening June 25th of this year, and will really be the place where your ducks get into their rows.   QUACK!

    Today, take note of the things you have accomplished toward that goal, and show your gratitude to the Great Amoeba for what you have.  Then make a new list of things that promise to move you forward...make sure that you put it into present tense.  If you say "I Need" the universe makes sure that you "need".  If you say "I deserve" the universe responds accordingly. 

(HEY-IT JUST STARTED SNOWING IN OUR LITTLE VALLEY-VERY ODD FOR US!)

     This Saturday we will be influenced by the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo.  I have to go and attend to my reality right now (i.e. go to the Mush Room and get a couple of hours onto the timecard) but I will be back soon to fill you in on the details of this little development...

     Congratulations on your Magnificent powers of Manifestation...look around you and give thanks-LIFE IS GOOD ALL OVER-keep up the good work!!!

Hi-I can't believe that it is Friday, and I have had quite the productive week, but it seems that every time I sat down at the computer there were so many details to attend to that by the time I tended to them, I had burned up all of my allotted computer attention and hadn't managed to get to visit YOU-my little BLOG-o-riffics.  

First order of business it seems is this particular Mercury Retrograde period that is doing a little dance over my ruling planet Saturn in my natal chart is really messing with me!  I hear you say "WHAT?"   This is happening in Pisces backwards into Aquarius and back into Pisces. SO...to clarify...the planet of Communication and Travel is waving over my planet of Truth and Restriction and all things Karmic...like a magic wand...first forward, now back, and after March 8th, forward again. It is creating a pattern of cleaning out the clutter, but it is also creating a one step forward, two steps back...effect on my attention to detail-as in I have had several minor inconveniences which have had the effect of making this old dog chase her tail for a couple of loops.

 Technical Difficulties:  Please stand By...

Here it is, the next day----as if to illustrate the above point, I was interrupted by a phone call from my mom, and I saved this as a draft, and then the site was having difficulties and I couldn't get back in to finish and post it...GEEZ!

As for you, my little darlings, any little disturbances that you may be facing in your forward momentum could definitely be a by-product of this Retrograde period...it is a reminder to dot our t's and cross our eyes...or whatever---have fun with that!  March 8th we can begin our forward momentum once again.  WHEW!

     I ALLOW MYSELF TO PROSPER AND THRIVE IN ALL WAYS.

This just seems like it should be so easy, yet we all have ways of thinking that limit us from trying to do things that we really want to do.  Sometimes that is because we don't really even know what it is that we DO want to do.  When we think about what we would do for a living if we could do ANYTHING we want....what do we think of?  I know what I think of, and I am working on it...but even then, sometimes my beliefs limit me from fully experiencing the prosperity that I deserve for honoring my muse.  What is it that you really want?  Make a list!

Limiting beliefs come from many directions.  Some particular favorites of mine are "If I have too much, I am greedy.", "Grandpa says that a new car is a waste of money.",  "If I get something that I want, someone might take it away.", "I don't need much to get by.",  "I don't know how to do..." and so on.  It looks ridiculous when I write it down and look at it, but here I am-and sharing it with you...as a way of saying "Isn't this ridiculous?  I MUST let this go!"

Sometimes when I am experiencing a particularly challenging belief, or limit, I can allow myself to wallow for only a moment...long enough to listen for the next instruction from the universal mind of the ALL that there IS.  It is true, folks...ask and the Universe will provide the answer...we just need to silence the doubt and remember that the Universe is INFINITE and within it lies INFINITE HEALTH, WEALTH and LOVE.  So, if only for today, repeat after me...

I ALLOW MYSELF TO PROSPER AND THRIVE IN ALL WAYS...OM...

I'm having a rainy day.  Outside it is kinda dark.  Babboo and I took a little excursion to have the tires rotated and have one checked because it had a slow leak...kinda like me today.  I might seem to the outsider like I might be kinda down, but it actually feels really nice to allow myself to not have to feel anything special.  I have just a kind of fuzzy feeling that nothing much is going to get accomplished, so I might as well hang out with my thoughts...and here you are looking in on them too...woohoo.

Naturally on a day like today, perhaps looking for some sort of inspiration, or diversion, or answer to a question that I am not even sure I am aware of, I did a bit of surfing and checked in at Shankari's Quest 33 (www.quest33.com) It's a fun little site, and you can pick a card out of a deck and she does an awesome description and then ritual blessing for you to do.  It's really sweet. 

Anyway...the one that I got today was about insecurity.   I think we all have those moments, or days, when we wonder about what exactly the next move should be...if not...you probably haven't gotten very far on the list of things to do in this amazing lifetime!!!  The prayer she had on the card fits exactly what I was talking about yesterday...about being able to be taken care of by the universe, so I thought I would share it with you too.

Ahem..."My quest is clear in the eye of God right now.  I am safe, infinite, and immortal.  I am the beloved, innocent, co-creator of my destiny.  Everything else is and illusion, keeping me insecure and disempowered.  I consciously change that now.  I am free, strong and brave in the eye of God."---Shankari.

I also learned a mantra for wealth..."Aum Kubera Pranasiddhar Manimaran."  Say it ten times (fast if you like...) and sit in the energy of it for 15 minutes a day.  It just might work!

Happy Valentine's Day, My Little BlogMuffins.

I come to you today with my Attitude of Gratitude for you, my dear readers.  Thank you for continuing to check my progress, and root for me...the little gal, just out here trying to make the best of what seems to be a pretty darn good life anyway!  If I have one wish it is that everyone who comes here leaves with the feeling that we're all in it together...so be nice!

Lately I have been exploring what it feels like to believe that I can have ANYTHING that I want.  In my mind I know that the Universe is Infinite, and therefore the resources are as well.  This means ANYTHING REALLY IS POSSIBLE.  Today-for Valentine's Day I am taking this message to Heart...The Universe Wants Me To Be Taken Care Of and I Allow It To Take Care Of ME!!!  That goes for you too.  BLESSINGS.

Well my darlings,  After our last little chat I managed to relapse into the puddle of goo and become one with the kleenex as my "cleansing" decided to dredge up more stagnant energy I had stored in the nooks and crannies of my being.  UGH.  I was sniffling and coughing, and using all of the tissue in the house. I slept, drank tea, slept, drank juice, slept...and tried to relax...but to no avail.  I was sick.  I used every healing symbol in my repertoire and went over my whole body, but there was this one spot in my shoulder which kept the pressure on. 

It felt like there was a hazelnut jammed into the place where my spine meets my shoulder girdle.  It was causing me great pain, and giving me a headache that I just wanted to sleep my way out of. I was trying all of the karmic symbols on it to try to loosen it up exept one which is known as a Yang Cho Ku Rei.   My Reiki Master says that it is only used on rare occasions because it actually uses energy from you, unlike regular symbols which use the spiritual energy channel from the universe.  It's okay to use on yourself because you are recycling your own energy so...after getting nowhere with the other symbols I decided I would see what happens---and it worked...immediately! 

     I drew the symbol on my hand (not in ink---just with my hand) and held my hand over the spot.  It got hot, and then I felt a shift in my shoulder.  I waited a few minutes, then got up and stretched and it POPPED like a cork!  I immediately felt better, I was able to get up off of the couch and today, except for a small lingering sniffle, I am good as new...I know that there are many folks out there that do not believe that this stuff works...but I am not one of them.  Thank the Great Amoeba for Reiki!!!

Good Morning my little pretties.  So much for writing every day...I was down for the count the last couple of days with some sort of AcheMaker.  I seem to have recovered after mostly sleeping for the last 48, or so, hours.  Yikes!  I'm thankful to Young Living "Purification" oil for pretty quickly knocking it out of me-once I finally got the bright idea to use it.  

It was interesting to me that Monday night, right before I started getting sick, I had a dream where there were these people that looked like Judges, and they had my heart.  They were holding it up and one said "Just remember, when you make a decision, run it through your heart first."  Then the heart began to glow like a lantern and I woke up because I actually had a pain in my chest.  Once I acknowledged it, and the dream, it went away as if they were just trying to make me remember.  It really felt as though it was about another lifetime where I was not so kind...

The next night I had a dream where I was in a room that looked like some sort of church, but very plain and modern.  It was very boxy and had large windows all the way around it.  There were quite a few people gathered, and we were preparing for some sort of performance or play or something.  I was working on a costume, and felting some sort of bodice.  Then there was a parade and as I was walking back from it there was a bunch of stuff in the grass that had been thrown from the floats.  I bent down to pick some up and realized that they were art supplies!  and I began to fill my bag with them as fast as I could.  OM.  Not surprising that yesterday in my mailbox was my grant check to Dick Blick Art Supply Company...yes kids...by this time next week I will be styling my new drafting chair and painting with my new paints and brushes.  HAPPY ME!  My studio is getting a large upgrade!

Okay-enough about me for now.  For the rest of you dreamers out there, today is the annual Sun Conjunct Neptune.  This is all about connection to spirit, and spiritual connections.  It begins a new cycle and encourages new dreams.  You may find yourself a little on the idealistic and dreamy side.  You can use your daydreams to find ways to connect on a deeper level with the world around you.  

Tomorrow Venus in Pisces, which is about romantic spiritual connections, squares Jupiter in Sagittarius, which is all about room to roam...balancing the two can be quite a game...thankfully Jupiter is the planet of luck...

Enjoy it while it lasts because by Saturday when the Sun opposes Saturn you may find yourself in more of a reality check mode.  This aspect is all about how we support ourselves, and facing limitations.  This will be the halfway point in the Saturn retrograde cycle, and can be a turning point if used wisely.  Use this energy to shed an outdated behavior or two.

Hello, my dear friends both old and new.  It seems that my Second Born Son is growing up before my very eyes. Happy Birthday Sweet Baby.  The thing I will remember was having 9 teenage boys trying to maneuver through the bungalow, and waking up to see three leggy kids sleeping on the couch bed with one sleeping underneath, one in the dog's beanbag chair and another four in the bedroom...too funny.

I woke up this morning after having a rather amusing dream where I was in a bed in a room with two windows and a door.  There was very bright light coming through the windows.  In the doorway I saw Thing One and Two's Dad, and with him was a brown horse that was pretty high strung.  I knew they had climbed a flight of stairs to get there.  All of a sudden the horse bolted toward me and flopped down on the bed next to me as if it were a large dog!  (I'm wondering if it isn't because Leetle Dog manages to carve out Big Space in the bed if you don't hold your ground...haha)  My dream book says that a brown horse means material gain. (Watch Your Dreams, by Ann Ree Colton-seriously the dream bible)  Ha ha...even her name has C-O-L-T...I hope the fact that it was running at me means that it is coming quickly!!!  OM.

Then I went downstairs and Thing One was laying on the couch watching Super Bowl stuff.  The Sports page was next to him on the floor and the basketball headline read "No 'D' for Trojans' H-O-R-S-E".  Guess they were trying to tell me that the Colt's were going to win, but I was still kinda hopin' for the Bears.  They are encrypted into my DNA-it's like a reflex.  I've actually never been to a Bears game, but I did manage to be at their stadium, Soldier Field, for the last two Grateful Dead shows before Jerry was recalled...I saw the Dead on L.S.D....(Lake Shore Drive-addicts!)...I imagine that was a little different than being there for the Bears.

Speaking of the Dead...The summer tour of 1995 was for sure a long strange trip, and I have it to thank for so many stories...Today I got a message from one of the characters in one of those stories...one Gary Tomaro...with the birthday 7-7-7...We met at Auburn Hills, and had no real reason to keep in touch, but every once in a while, old friends make their way back around again...Welcome back, kind brother...we are still in it together...OM!!!  Thanks to the magic of Mandalablog...bringing the world together, one stranger at a time...just to shake their hands.  Thanks for stopping by.  Be Kind.

Well, kids, after stalling for quite some time about spending the last $1000 of my business grant, push has come to shove and the kind folks at the BDC who helped make this happen for me, are telling me that I need to move it or lose it.  Sigh, such is life.

For the Blog-neo-phytes, With apologies to those of you who have heard it all before...About Two years ago I was accepted to a program that is offered to folks who are starting businesses on very little capital.  IT is not really very hard to get, and is offered all over the country.  It is called an Individual Development Account, and essentially matched funds for me over the course of a year of savings.  I saved $125 a month for about 9 months until my account reached $1335.  I then was awarded a 3:1 match of  $4000 from lottery funds!  (Thanks to all of you out there who are taxed because you can't do math, and support the lottery)  The IDA is available for three reasons, Start a Business, Buy a House, or Go to School.  (Ask about it at your local Credit Union, or Community College.)

  There are steps you have to take, and hoops you have to jump, but the process gives you the time to really think over what it is that you need, and how to move forward with your idea.  I had to write a business plan, and if you look at the blogs from last year at this time, I believe you would sense some stress over the completion of said business plan.  It took a good long time to put together, and I really pushed it, but since it was approved by the Bankers that Be, and my funds were released, I have done a good job of doing what I said that I was going to do, and keeping on track. WOOHOO! 

In addition, the momentum was enough to catapult me into finishing my Bachelor's Degree at "NikeU", something that just plain needed to be done!  Anyway...enough about my laurels, here I am resting on them when I should be hopping int the shower and getting on my way for the day

SO, last year, after spending about $4000 on supplies and fees and having my zodiac cards printed, I stopped and waited to see if anything came up that I hadn't thought of in my plan, but almost a year later, I am going forward with my original thoughts of upgrading my studio supplies, buying myself a matt cutter and a new drafting stool (since mine is steel and looks like it came from the Jr. High Art Room), and looking into a nice digital camera so I can really get good shots of my work.  This will take my studio to the next level, and I am ready!

While the moon is Full in Leo today, take a moment to reflect upon your S'elf.   Leo is the house of Self, and about being proud of who you are.  I hope that when you think about what it is you want to accomplish, it includes reflection on all of the things that you have ALREADY accomplished to get you to where you are today.  Leo is all about the Heart, and finding the Strength within ( Strength is the Tarot card for the big kitties.)  The Heart is a Sentient Being within you.  Get in touch with it and it will guide you to your dreams...GO FOR IT!!!
