Well, Bloglodytes and Amoebites...since no one seems to give a rat's patoot about me and my stupid endeavors, and all this talk about the woogie woo-woo astrological signs, symbols and omens and what to do about it seems to be a big waste of your precious time, I am giving up...who am I to think that you should take my stupid advice anyway.  I realize that this world is just that, and that we came from dirt and will go back to dirt and it's just one big ordeal after another in between!  Why bother...

Pluto, a non planet, but certainly not a non-entity, rears it's backside and revisits old battle grounds with the fervor of a preacher-man as it retrogrades in Sagittarius-the sign of the Philosopher, and the Madman?   Pluto is  aspecting Sag's Jupiter which is at home where it is sitting in the 9th house, and we get to expand our understanding of some pretty deeply rooted issues.

Now, thankfully this is taking place in a most upbeat place in the wheel--Sagittarius has a way of making light of things, which is what we are looking for...and we can look to the Wild Horses that they are-(most of the lot of them)......like a carousel at the carnival that breezes in and out of town...Sagittarius...fun while it lasts..."whew" once it's gone.  Pluto-getting down to the real nitty gritty...bringing the truth up from the depths.  Maybe you feel as though you can't settle down, and to this I say...keep things light---go about things in the next few months in a "Merry-Go-Roundabout" way....This is a time to clean out the skeletons from your closet, and get things aired out in the open.  Soon it will be time to plant the garden, and entertain friends.   OM.

Good Monday Morning---I am noticing that my last post was on Friday the 16th, which was TEN DAYS AGO!!  How did that happen?  I am sure that I was catapulted through the time space continuum at an alarming rate last week-which left little time for sitting in front of this little device.  For those of you with ABANDONMENT issues...Never Fear---Mandalafly is ALWAYS with you.

So, briefly-some of the high points of the last ten days...Dreams have been SUPER intense....I had a dream on the night of the Spring Equinox about having a baby---I was with a group of friends and did not appear to be very pregnant, but then-ready or not-I went through the whole delivery process...then went to dinner as if that were not unusual.  Ahhh...Spring...time to birth the "babies" we've been incubating through the fall and winter.  I feel like I am about to have Quintuplets!!!  Further along the week-dreams of tornadoes...(but only for show---no harm done).

Later in the week I was invited to be a part of a group of practitioners that are getting together to raise money for a children's center in Mongolia.  The Lotus Center, www.lotuschild.org (which looks like a great place to go if you want to meet Angelina Jolie or Madonna---OH-sorry-my evil twin MandalaBat)  takes care of abused and abandoned children and operates on private funding.  We are having a day of healing for them on May 19.  I will talk more about it after the info meeting this weekend.  

Thursday and Friday I went to a seminar for artists.  It was presented by a man named Bruce Baker,  who is a jeweler, and has done trade shows and the like for years.  He is also a writer for the "Craft's Report" magazine, and an image consultant for art businesses.  His seminar was EXTREMELY informative.  We covered booths, booth materials, trade shows, work, slides, juries, and all of the other little hoops you have to jump in order to make a go of it in the "real world" of Art Sales.  Sigh---it was inspiring, and informative and very pertinent to my little business.  Now to actually IMPLEMENT the ideas!!!    All of this just in time for Saturday Market to start April 7---WOW!

On that note, if you don't hear from me for a few days...you should have an idea of why...I'm sure you can find things to keep you busy too...I'll be in touch---Mandalafly's Honor!!!

Okay, SO...This morning, I awoke from a dream where I was having a discussion with Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones.  I must have gone back in time, because he didn't look quite as "rode hard" as he appears now, but I digress... (I know, "how unusual, mandalafly!")   Anyway, for whatever reason, we were talking about a "tradition" that he (in my dream) had, where he tried to "KICK MICK" on stage at every show-just for the fun of it, and I said something about seeing a Seinfeld or Frasier episode where Mick was talking about the (again-dream logic...) "time that Keith had kicked his legs right out from under him at a show."  I can think of some other things that Keith should have been trying to kick, but...hey, who am I to say???  I woke up singing "She's a Rainbow" and on the way to taking Things One and Two to school, the morning sun was creating "Sun Dogs" (round rainbows) in the clouds...ahhhhhhh-she IS a rainbow!  Oh what a beautiful morning!  (blessed by the Great Amoeba once again!)

So...Speaking of dogs, Leetle Dawg has a new nickname, derived from the way that after he catches his frisbee, he does this thing where he folds it in half and comes running back to you full speed with it in his mouth like a smile.  He is now (affectionately---of course!) known as the "Taco-Billed Fris-Beast."  Do not worry, the worst thing that you have to "fear" from this particular creature is a wicked pool of doggie drool that tends to accumulate inside his disc-lips...EWWWWWW...

Meanwhile, in the high heavens, the cosmos are busy preparing for the Pisces Solar Eclipse that will occur on Sunday, but for today, we are still enjoying the effects of Optimistic Jupiter trine Saturn, the Leader...I think it would be a good time for the happy-go-lucky among us to find a way to lead others to finding their bliss, and for those searching for their bliss, to find a happy-go-lucky leader!!!   I'm quite sure I have been on both sides of that coin before!!!  (fortunately it seems to be a two-headed one and I always land on my feet...)

This leads us into St. Patty's Day tomorrow-where again the theme will be LUCKY...and with Venus (planet of love and beauty) moving into it's home house of Taurus (money and possessions) hopefully we will get that way!  (LUCKY-that is...) There is an aspect to this placement regarding the way that we handle money in our partnerships, so there may be some discussion on that front with those it applies to...be constructive as you reassess your goals for the coming seasons...if things get "feisty", don't forget to kiss and make up!

On Sunday, Mercury,(communication and travel) moving forward again since last week, moves back into Pisces -the Dreamiest of Dreamers,  for a little pillow talk.  Then the Solar Eclipse, also in Pisces, marks a turning point, and since the Sun is also squaring Pluto (Transformation) you may find that it is time to let something go-be it a person, a job, or perhaps a belief that no longer serves your purposes.  Probably a good time to do some SPRING CLEANING!!! WHEW!

With all of that said, may the cosmos bestow BIG BOUNCING BLESSINGS on you, my  Little Blog-moebites...May you all get a little lucky this weekend!!!  HAPPY ST. PAT'S!!!

Bibbitty Bobbitty BOO!!!  Another week is through-I can't believe that the last post was last Thursday-it feels like it was just a day or two ago.  I have had a little time to breathe in the last couple of days, and I have been taking it.  AHHHH.  I love having a lot of projects, it makes me feel alive.  I don't like it though when I have so many things going that I am not doing any of them well.  SIGH---sometimes that happens, but for the most part I have found a way to integrate most of my  habits into my work...and my work into my habits (if that makes sense!)  I am a Capricorn, so almost everything I do is work related (I even work on mandalas while I am at Thing One's hockey practice!) that is why it is crucial for me to love what I do-and guess what- I DO!!!

I haven't had a chance to check the charts recently, but it seems like Spring is definitely upon us and renewal energy is in abundance around us.  Old hurts are falling away making room for new feelings of warmth and peace.  Let's hope that it is spreading to all of the places that are experiencing strife on this most beautiful of planets.  This weekend, on St. Patrick's day, there is a peace rally to stop the war in Iraq...I am sure that we are not the only city doing so...Let's not just focus on Iraq...WE CAN ACHIEVE PEACE ALL OVER (and under?)...Let it start with me and you....

Hooray.  Mercury started moving forward in the heavens as of yesterday, and it is a blessing for sure.  I have been lax in my blog-duties as I am deep in the throes of abundance and in the heat of finishing up a mandala for a girl who is healing a case of thyroid cancer (insert prayer for her here...).  I wish I had the energy to say more right now, but I am pushing my limits as usual...and I need to get my beauty rest so I can continue to have good vibes to SHARE WITH ALL OF YOU!!!

Hello Blog-meobites...and welcome to the other side of the Virgo Lunar Eclipse...hope you all made it through okay.  I know that the vibration of this house was pretty energized, especially since I received a new channel of Reiki energy called the "Satori" channel or channel of Divine LOVE...sigh!  I feel that it was very appropriate for the energy of this eclipse since (as I mentioned last time) it was in the house of Service and Health, and nothing fits that bill better than Reiki!

On Friday night I had my attunement into this channel, and yesterday had the class for it and got to practice it with the other three people who went through the initiation with me.  It is very soft energy, and very sweet.  I am really excited to be able to share it with my friends, clients, and family.  Of course I came home and immediately opened the "energy pyramid" in my home.  We are all pretty easy going for the most part anyway, but there was DEFINITELY a smooth and gentle vibe that Babboo, Thing One, and Leetle Dog picked up on.  Thing Two was away at "BabyDaddy's", so I'm not sure how it was for him, however things were pretty warm and fuzzy for us here. 

 So with that said, we went to bed at a fairly reasonable hour, and despite the lite brite moon, fell asleep pretty easily.  However, at about 4am I woke up and noticed that Babboo was out of bed.  It is not unusual for him to get up since he has been working nights, and his clock is a little out of whack, but usually he sleeps really hard on Saturday night as it is his only night off.  Anyway, I came downstairs and he was laying there watching hockey dvd's ("everybody's a Canadian...") and I noticed that Thing One's light was on, so I went to shut it off, and he was wide awake too!  This is a kid who can usually not make it past 11pm, but he IS a Virgo, so perhaps he was downloading the energy of the beacon which was at that point shining into our bedroom windows...I went back to sleep pretty easily, so I'm not sure how much longer they were awake. I just know that SOMETHING was definitely energizing this planet.  Anyone else have any stories?  Please share!

As for what it all means?  At this point I am still processing, but as I get insights, you will be the first to know...I hope you will do the same for me, your fearless leader of the Amoebite movement.

Darlings....

    Mandalafly has her wings-a-flappin' a million miles a minute right now.  I am really involved in a number of things, and it seems that all of the effort that I have been putting into networking is really beginning to pay off-but requires more and more of my time to respond-leaving Mandalablog on the back burner at times-sigh-but this is what I have been wishing for-nice to see it manifesting!!!  (The UNIVERSE DOES PROVIDE!!!)

     Anyway-I wanted to touch base with you about today's Saturn-Neptune Opposition which is a push-me-pull-you (remember Dr. Doolittle?) ride through Reality vs. Fantasy.  We have Saturn in Leo, where it is a bit uncomfortable-since Leo is the sign of personal freedom and Saturn is the planet of RESTRICTION.  Then Neptune is in Aquarius which is the sign of the UNIQUE and Neptune is the planet of Illusions and Mysticism-creating an aura of Fantastical Flights of Fancy.  WOO HOO-you know how I love that!  (But Saturn is my ruling planet...ugh!)

     This is the second of three Saturn-Neptune oppositions.  The first was at the end of August-beginning of September last year-within a month of a solar eclipse.  Think about what was happening then.  What have you put into place as far as your dream scheme since then...what do you still need to work on?  This one is like a checkpoint-and the third will be happening June 25th of this year, and will really be the place where your ducks get into their rows.   QUACK!

    Today, take note of the things you have accomplished toward that goal, and show your gratitude to the Great Amoeba for what you have.  Then make a new list of things that promise to move you forward...make sure that you put it into present tense.  If you say "I Need" the universe makes sure that you "need".  If you say "I deserve" the universe responds accordingly. 

(HEY-IT JUST STARTED SNOWING IN OUR LITTLE VALLEY-VERY ODD FOR US!)

     This Saturday we will be influenced by the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo.  I have to go and attend to my reality right now (i.e. go to the Mush Room and get a couple of hours onto the timecard) but I will be back soon to fill you in on the details of this little development...

     Congratulations on your Magnificent powers of Manifestation...look around you and give thanks-LIFE IS GOOD ALL OVER-keep up the good work!!!

Hi-I can't believe that it is Friday, and I have had quite the productive week, but it seems that every time I sat down at the computer there were so many details to attend to that by the time I tended to them, I had burned up all of my allotted computer attention and hadn't managed to get to visit YOU-my little BLOG-o-riffics.  

First order of business it seems is this particular Mercury Retrograde period that is doing a little dance over my ruling planet Saturn in my natal chart is really messing with me!  I hear you say "WHAT?"   This is happening in Pisces backwards into Aquarius and back into Pisces. SO...to clarify...the planet of Communication and Travel is waving over my planet of Truth and Restriction and all things Karmic...like a magic wand...first forward, now back, and after March 8th, forward again. It is creating a pattern of cleaning out the clutter, but it is also creating a one step forward, two steps back...effect on my attention to detail-as in I have had several minor inconveniences which have had the effect of making this old dog chase her tail for a couple of loops.

 Technical Difficulties:  Please stand By...

Here it is, the next day----as if to illustrate the above point, I was interrupted by a phone call from my mom, and I saved this as a draft, and then the site was having difficulties and I couldn't get back in to finish and post it...GEEZ!

As for you, my little darlings, any little disturbances that you may be facing in your forward momentum could definitely be a by-product of this Retrograde period...it is a reminder to dot our t's and cross our eyes...or whatever---have fun with that!  March 8th we can begin our forward momentum once again.  WHEW!

     I ALLOW MYSELF TO PROSPER AND THRIVE IN ALL WAYS.

This just seems like it should be so easy, yet we all have ways of thinking that limit us from trying to do things that we really want to do.  Sometimes that is because we don't really even know what it is that we DO want to do.  When we think about what we would do for a living if we could do ANYTHING we want....what do we think of?  I know what I think of, and I am working on it...but even then, sometimes my beliefs limit me from fully experiencing the prosperity that I deserve for honoring my muse.  What is it that you really want?  Make a list!

Limiting beliefs come from many directions.  Some particular favorites of mine are "If I have too much, I am greedy.", "Grandpa says that a new car is a waste of money.",  "If I get something that I want, someone might take it away.", "I don't need much to get by.",  "I don't know how to do..." and so on.  It looks ridiculous when I write it down and look at it, but here I am-and sharing it with you...as a way of saying "Isn't this ridiculous?  I MUST let this go!"

Sometimes when I am experiencing a particularly challenging belief, or limit, I can allow myself to wallow for only a moment...long enough to listen for the next instruction from the universal mind of the ALL that there IS.  It is true, folks...ask and the Universe will provide the answer...we just need to silence the doubt and remember that the Universe is INFINITE and within it lies INFINITE HEALTH, WEALTH and LOVE.  So, if only for today, repeat after me...

I ALLOW MYSELF TO PROSPER AND THRIVE IN ALL WAYS...OM...
