Ask and Ye shall receive.  I said NIGHT WORK and BOOM-I got it-I not only started having some of the most detailed and extensive dreams, I also started a temp job packaging mushrooms (the legal ones-Damn HIPPIE!) for a very small place that some friends of mine work at.  This is the season for mushrooms, and they needed some extra hands, and since Saturday Market will be ending soon, I needed some extra income...WIN-WIN!  Then-as if that were not enough, Baboo's assistant at the Donut Hole ducked out on him in the middle of the week, and I was called in to provide backup for a couple of days.  Next time this happens I told the boss I am charging an EMERGENCY FEE for my services on top of the hourly wage!  I have no desire to be the Donut HO.

Only a couple of things to catch you up on.  First of all, I wanted to share with you one of the dreams that I had (in the limited amount of sleep that I got!)   It was all about math.  I was laying there looking at a dream ceiling when I started to receive instruction through a laser light show.  There were lasers that were making geometric patterns on the ceiling, and then there was this narrative voice showing me how "the corners were not finite points, but the starting points for refraction and triangulations that created patterns which become pictures and great works of art!"  It played into this vision that I had during my last Reiki attunement where I saw these mechanical DaVinci type wings on either side of my energy body.  I LOVE THIS GAME!!!  I am not sure how this applies to your life-how do you feel about math?  Have you ever looked into Sacred Geometry?  Fascinating whether you like math or not!!!

Yesterday the sun moved into Libra, and fall officially began.  It is the time of year to get ready to settle in for the winter...store up your harvest, and prepare for hibernation.  There is a lot to be learned about Squirrel energy at this time...I will talk about that in an upcoming blog shortly-I promise.  This is completely backwards if you are in the Southern Hemisphere where it is just now starting to be Spring, but for me right now that is too much to think about...so have fun with that Down There (you know who you are!)

The sun's transit of Virgo highlighted ways in which we go about our work.  I can tell you that at both the Lunar and Solar eclipses I was doing things for others that had little to do with what it is I want to be doing.  It was a very interesting study in the way that I utilize my energies.  I will usually drop my own stuff to help others out-especially if I am going to make a buck or two in the process.  This is often not so good for my art business, as it takes energy away form it, but in some respects what I am doing right now in the Mush-Room is learning about product packaging and distribution, which is something I have been feeling like I need to work on.  I have learned over the years to cultivate my "day jobs" for information that is usefull for my real life's work, and I can see the benefits of the knowledge that I am obtaining already...I know that it is exactly what I asked for.  Lucky me.

Libra is all about partnerships and friendships.  Today happens to be my Mom's birthday (lol-she just logged onto the IM!!!)  There is a really strong visionary aspect to today due to Jupiter in Scorpio making a Square with Neptune in Aquarius.  This is all about luck in visualization.  Take some time out today to tune into what it is you want to see happen for yourself.  You might be surprised by what your subconscious shows you is possible.  MANIFEST YOUR DESTINY!!!  Work issues shift seamlessly into creatng harmony....OMMMM..be your own best friend.

I Had TO Say "NIGHT WORK!"
Mood:  caffeinated
Now Playing: Pink Floyd
Topic: What a Night

So, last night my dream was that I went back to work at the Taco Hole-which had changed quite a bit, and I was waiting on a couple of tables, one of which was a couple of men that I actually did used to wait on, (and was not overly fond of...because they were the kind of guys who would "jokingly" insult your every move) and then I got busy and couldn't get a rasberry margarita made to save my life.  I never made it back to their tables.  Couldn't get it together enough-too many things had changed, or I had.  After I had completely pissed off both tables and spilled and screwed up enough things, I was changing clothes, pretty much in front of everybody.  I kept trying on these very multicolored dresses-not my usual style, but something I think I would like to wear if given the opportunity.  Hmm...I was absolutely sure that I was not cut out for that job anymore, and that I was truly moving on.  I quit that life back in January and I haven't really felt like going back...I am not sure why I needed to revisit it.  I am not feeling stressed about money or anything...maybe I just needed a check up.

The moon is in Leo which is all about the power of the self.  It will be moving into Virgo which can be kind of fretful if we have daytime tensions, as they will be visited in the night realm. It is important to know that dreams help us figure stuff out-stop worrying so much and get some sleep!  The new moon in Libra on Friday comes with the annual Solar eclipse, and just before the Autumnal Equinox the next day.  When the moon is in Libra on a Friday night, a special Venus initiation is experienced.  In our sleep we are faced with the length, breadth, height, and depth of our love.  We should respond during the daytime to what is shown to us during this night...a good time to write down our dreams!!!

I don't know about you, but I am obviously in a period of accelerated healing.  Since I started with the new Reiki group in July, I have been having some of the most profound experiences ever!  I have been a Reiki Master for almost ten years already and have always felt like Reiki is an important part of my life, and that it has helped me.  Since I started practicing with this group, I have been "cleaning the energy closets".  It is amazing to me that I could have been working on myself for so long, and learning and growing all of the time, but all of a sudden I am truly seeing a major amp in my vibration!

Monday and Thursday of this last week I got a re-attunement to the first level of Reiki-but in a new "lineage" that is more specific than what I already practice.  The first level opens your Crown, and Third-eye, the second half opens Throat and Heart.  I have had this attunement before, but this was coupled with a cleansing and some secondary chakra openings.   During the opening of the Throat I had some amazing visions, all about Egypt.  My energy body, and three others were surrounded by a pyramid.  I saw Thoth, the Ibis, who it is said wrote the first book of Magic.  I heard the word Anthaknara-which I found out later is an Egyptian symbol-we use it in Reiki-and saw the OM symbol which is related to it, and is the sound of the throat chakra.  I also saw the Sri Yantra which is the picture that the OM sound makes.  I also heard the name Akhenaten who was the Pharoe who began to worship the sun as the one true god.  It is believed that this was the beginning of monotheistic religion.  This was very amazing-to come out of it and put the symbols together and have it be so Egyptian...wow.

Then last night I had a dream about Babboo and the husband of the woman doing my attunements being Russian U-boat commanders...is it possible they have known each other before?

Then a dream where I dropped Thing 2 off at a house and was invited in to a beautiful party.  I was not dressed for it-and realized I had left the house in a t-shirt and my underwear! (WOW) and they said not to worry because they would prepare this special garment for me.  A man took a piece of beautiful colored silk and twirled it and created a dress for me.  All of the people in the dream were dressed in gorgeous silk clothing.  I put the dress on and they saw that there was something wrong with my breasts.  The man said I have something for that, and gave them this ointment that was kind of thick and honey colored, and this woman helped me spread it on my breasts.  Immediately I was sick to my stomach and I told the women attending me that I needed to spit.  I could taste this junk in my mouth which was thick and smelled bad, and when I spit it out it looked like a large slug-ICK!!!  (sorry kids-this is just the way it is!)  I knew that it was stagnant energy that was being released.  Breasts are about nurturing, and nourishing, so hopefully this means that I am being cleansed of the things that do not do that for me.  OM

There was even more...something about escaping from a situation, hiding, being pregnant with 6 babies!!!   I was more active asleep than I was awake yesterday!  I know this all sounds nuts, but this is what is happening, and you know me well enough by now to know that I tell it like I think it is!!!

Think I'll go clean an actual closet-just for kicks!

First Fall Feeling Friday
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: Turn-Turn-Turn-The Byrds
Topic: Make LikeTrees

Friday night-and here I am blogging-oh, you know you are envying me the glam life right now!!!  Yesterday it appears that the switch was flipped on the Autumn machine here in the Pac NW, and today it was chilly, overcast and showers dripped down every so often.  Then there was sunshine, and on my way home this evening I saw a stunning gold aura of sunlight bursting through the clouds as the sun made it's way toward the horizon.  MMMM-Fall...though it is not official for another week, I have definately got a couple extra layers on today-or as the Goddess of the Eternal Lava Lamp calls it...Toe-sock weather!

Yesterday was an interesting day, I was walking Leetledog over to our secret field when I found a playing card on the ground.  For those of you who do not know, playing cards can be read like tarot cards-hearts are cups, clubs are wands, diamonds are coins, and spades are swords.  I picked up the card and it was the Queen of Diamonds (Coins) which happens to be a card associated with fall...and environment.  The outdoors speaks to you.  She oversees the bounty of the harvest.  In timing questions she is about this time of year.

On the way home I took a slightly different route (variety is the spice) and a couple of blocks from the first card, I found a second-the Six of Hearts.  In the tarot deck this  is the card about sentimental value.  Things from your past that are important to you now.  Sometimes it means you will hear from someone in your past, or that you need to learn something from your past.  I used the two cards as a cover and cross reading which reads that As we step into this season it will be a time for using what we have learned from our past and realizing it's effects on how we receive nature's bounty today.

This is nicely highlighted by  Pluto squaring the Virgo Sun tomorrow.  This is a fine time to ask yourself whether you are in an appropriate work or life situation.  The coming solar eclipse on the 22nd may help shed some illumination on ways to improve your current standing, but you first have to recognize what it is you want to shift.  Help is on the way.  OM.

WHATTAWEEK!!!
Mood:  incredulous
Now Playing: Dark Side of the Moon-Pink Floyd
Topic: PORTAL>>>

Hello my little friends,  I have been a bad blog-lo-dyte and neglected my duties in the blogosphere for more time than I care to admit.  I have had so many events going on, and so much to say and there was just not enough time to sit down and catalogue it.  It seems that the Pisces Lunar Eclipse at the end of the last week was an excuse for me to lack any sort of rhyme or reason and I pushed the limits of sleep, work, play, friends, family, and fun for an entire week...WHEW!!!

Let's begin last week when Babboo came home from his first night flying solo at his new gig baking at the Donut Hole (not to be confused with the Taco Hole of Blogs gone by...) After 16 hours and a brutal night with barely enough time to rest before he had to go back again he was one tired puppy.  It is a job that a guy had been doing for 13 years and he had it down so that he could do all of it in about 8 hours alone. After watching Babboo collapse into bed, I knew he needed a helper, and I went and helped him for the next 4 nights (12-14 hours a night for him PLUS 8-9 hours a night for me) and I can tell you that the prior baker must have a team of elves.  His boss hired an additional person to do the frying for him, and it is working better, but is still probably not legal by union standards...we'll see how long it lasts.

Friday was the full moon and eclipse, and the beginning of the annual Eugene Celebration which is a huge downtown block party with all kinds of music and entertainment, art and revelry.  I went Friday afternoon and saw the local band 11 Eyes who ROCKED.  They were on early, while it was still light out and the crowd was kind of small, but in the middle of their set there came a point which I can only describe as an ECSTATIC moment as music, light, dance and happiness crescendoed and we were a whole pile of laughing, dancing, hugging, blissful people, high on the power of trumpet, sax, guitar and drums.  I get goosebumps!!!

Because I worked with Babboo Friday night, I slept through the Eugene Celebration Parade which is known to be one of the wackiest shows on Earth, but I did manage to get downtown that evening for the band Tea Leaf Green from San Francisco.  I have to say they were really good, but after what had happened at 11 Eyes, mildly anti-climactic (guess I peaked early).  It was enjoyable, and I would definately see them again.

Sunday afternoon Leetle Dog and his super friends, Ruby, Trinity, and Parilla and their humans, Babboo, Me, Nichole (standing in for Fleesh) and Julie donned shiny capes and marched in the Pet Parade.  At one point Babboo heard someone call us the Disco Crusaders because all of the capes were iridescent, (mine and Tyrones being silver and textured like a Disco Ball)-I will post pix asap-it was fun!

Then on Sunday night I went to start classes in a new form of Reiki that I am learning from a woman from Russia.  There are more channels than the Usui form of Reiki that I practice right now, and I am really excited about it.  I am being prepared for a channel that works on karmic issues, and am having some secondary chakras opened up.  I went on Monday for a first level re-attunement and will go tomorrow to finish it.  This attunement opens up and adjusts the chakras from the Crown to the Heart and I can tell you right now that my sensitivity to energy has been upped several notches already (not sure 11 Eyes didn't have a part in it!)

Amidst the madness my car ceased to function properly and I have been without it since Saturday.  I am thankful that I live in a town that is incredibly easy to navigate without one, and it makes me realize that it really isn't such a hardship to get around other ways...easy to say when it is not raining yet...

I don't know how it has been for you, but my dreams have been terrific.  I am having entire other lives in my sleep.  Pisces is the dreamiest moon, and even though it was last Friday, the fact that it was a full moon and an eclipse makes it more powerful than usual.  The funny part is that I do not know very many people who actually slept very well at the end of last week.  It seems to have been a time of frenetic activity for the masses, but it also seems to have been very productive and enlightening.

Well, kids, that is enough about me for the time being.  I have gone past the usual limit I put on the length of my blogs, without getting into any of the planetary prognostication that you know and love me for, however I will leave you with this:

Mercury is moving into conjunction with Mars, and communication by Friday could become a little aggressive and as the moon moves toward Cancer somewhat emotional.  This is all about cooperation and getting along.  If there are areas in your life you need to speak up for, by all means-try to be gentle.  We are also operating under the effects of a grand mutable cross as the sun and the moon's nodes square a Gemini Moon and a Sagittarian Pluto.  This placement of Pluto encourages us to let go of outdated beliefs that are not serving our higher good, and learning a new way of looking at things.  Saturday we may be sentimental, and by Sunday, the Moon in Leo has us riding high once again.  Try not to take things to the extreme, and you should be gliding into next week with enthusiasm, ready to get down to some Fall cleaning-of all kinds.  You get to decide what should stay and what should go...and on that note-see you in a bit-o-honeys...

WOW! The Pisces Lunar Eclipse really amped life as I know it.  I am on the tail end of a fabulous weekend that I am eager to share with all of you lovely blog-lo-dytes, but I have vowed to go to bed early and finally get a good nights sleep to recover from my wild and wacky week...it has been quite a ride.  I think that it is funny that the Pisces moon is one of the best dreaming moons that there is, but I hardly know anyone that got a regular night's sleep at the end of last week-perhaps because we were waking up to the reality that "life is but a dream..." OM.  See you in the morning.

The Crocodile Hunter-OM-I keep seeing his picture and everytime feel so much love in my heart for his enthusiasm and adventurous spirit-I can only hope to impart a fraction of that kind of zeal.   Odd to me that his big heart was pierced by venom-when he was able to share so much love with the world.   I can only say that I hope my passing, when my time comes, is quick and to the point-(unlike my blogs....lol) and I should be lucky to spend my life doing what I love as he did.
I am reminded of a dream that I had about ten years ago when I was working with a lot of new energies.  The short story is that I dreamt that my friend that I had been learning reiki with and I were catching and fileting stingrays in Mexico, and I was trying to figure out how to cook them.  I went to a store and everything was in spanish, but then I asked a question and it became english....
I have this fantastic dream book called "Watch Your Dreams" by Ann Ree Colton (seriously-dream bible...) and it said that stingrays represent astral entities that can cause you physical harm.  It also said that learning to cook something represented understanding how to deal with it's energy, and obviously that the language becoming clear to me was that it was getting easier to do so.
I have never forgotten the dream, and every time I think of stingrays I  do a little prayer of protection...(here's one now...ommmmm) that I may be strong enough to deal with the things that intend to do me and others harm.
Whenever someone famous dies in such a spectacular way, I know the message is for the masses...I hope we can all learn to protect our loving and kind hearts from the things that do them harm, and in the event of a mishap-we can at least die doing something we have great passion for...OM

Labor Day
Mood:  caffeinated
Now Playing: Workin' In A Coalmine-DEVO
Topic: Summer Sunset

Thinking of a bumper sticker-something about "the Labor Party-the folks who brought you the weekend..."  17 years ago, Labor Day was the 4th like it is today, and I went into LABOR with Thing ONE!!!  For those of you who have been reading along for a while, this should not surprise you one bit.  I didn't actually have him until Wednesday afternoon, but I still have to laugh.

Today the lump of orbiting rock known as Pluto comes out of retrograde.  It has been moving backward in the sky since March 29 and giving us ample opportunity since then to figure out what it is that we really want to change in our lives.  Now is the time to put into practice the things that we have learned about ourselves and what we want.  As things start to move forward again, over the next few weeks, a plan will emerge.  We have the sun in Virgo, which is the house of service and health, and during it's transit here we will also have 2 new moons, (one was on the 23-the first day of Virgo) a full moon eclipse this Thursay the 7th-and the second new moon is the Annular Solar Eclipse!  Venus moves into Virgo on Wednesday the 6th, and Mars moves into Libra on Friday the 8th....what a week!

Pluto is in Sagittarius-which is happy go lucky-and all about long distance travel and education.  Pluto in Sag brings deep hope, and profound understanding.  As it moves forward again this should be an uplifting time for everyone.  As you make decisions about your future, the question to ask yourself is "how does this affect the greater good?"  Are you doing things that raise your vibration?  GOOD!!  A high tide lifts all boats...

On Wednesday, Venus moves into Virgo (and Thing One turns 17!)  Venus in Virgo is all about caution in love, and being cautious about who or what you give your heart to.  This can be a time of reigning in your emotions, however, the Pisces full moon and accompanying eclipse the next day is ALL ABOUT emotional issues.  Use the power of this illumination, and it's dark side, to make a note of the things that are not serving your emotional needs, and make arrangements to do the things necessary to change this.  This position of Venus tends to promote scandal-things could get a bit dicey around the water cooler!   It is easy (and fun!) to get caught up in the gossip, but much better (and healthier) to be the voice of reason.

I'll be on later to talk about the Pisces full moon in more detail-until then, my little stargazers...behave yourselves!!!

Saturn Opposing Neptune
Mood:  celebratory
Now Playing: yes
Topic: 365

This is blog number 365-which means after a year and 8 months, I finally have a year's worth of blognificence.  Funny, it doesn't seem like I miss that many days, but it doesn't take much to set you back.  I guess I should remember that as it applies to my business!

After 36 years since the last one, with a big square at 18 years ago, Saturn-Neptune opposition is here today, and issues around our dreams take center stage.  This is Fantasy-vs-Reality energy.  Saturn-little old man-father time-earth energy-ruler of Capricorn: Neptune-dreamy-watery-emotional-god of the sea.-ruler of Pisces.

Let's think of the ways that Capricorn and Pisces combine-(this part is easy for me-Thing One and Two are half fish-half goat-I'm pretty sure each one got a different fish!)  Pisces-the sign of two fish pulling each other in opposite directions allows emotional undercurrents to give them direction, while Capricorn-who is a Seagoat, and capable of swimming in the depths early on, moves up onto land to climb the mountain in as direct fashion as they can (not always carefully-ask me how I know).  Pisces is dreamy and mystical, Capricorn is responsible and realistic.  Sometimes it is difficult for Pisces to understand that their dreams are not reality, sometimes it is difficult for Capricorn to understand that reality is created out of dreams.  When Earth meets Water, you can get mud, or you can get clay.  (Papa Thing and I were actually in the business of ceramics-lol)  If you throw mud you get a mess, if you throw clay, you get art...Channeling the energy of this opposition is powerful.  Do you have what it takes to master both elements?  Make your dreams become your reality...and make your reality inspire your dreams.  All things are possible.

One thing I read regarding this has to do with Dream vs Fantasy.  While chasing fantasies can lead to disillusion,  Dreams have the advantage of being able to come true, but you must take the steps necessary to make it so-tomorrow's Mercury conjuncting the sun gives you the go ahead to put the plan into motion!!!  Coupled with the first quarter Sagittarian gambler's moon-take a chance-what do you have to lose?                                                         OM.
