So the other day I was blogging on about the Principles of the Universe-of which there are twelve-just like all the good, self-help programs.  And for those of you who are behind in your studies, the first of these is the Principle of Spirituality (or God)-Accept that there is a force beyond your capacity to control everything (still working on this one)..."The Spirit of God soared over the Abyss"-between 0 and Infinity, All is God. 

So, today I have been considering #2, which is the Principle of Information...The Cosmic Internet..."And God Said"...-Information is EVERYWHERE and all the units exchange infomation through this informational energy field...the ETHER.  Our Etheric energy body is visible to most people who are willing to give it a try.  Have one of your friends stand by a plain, light colored wall...not in direct light.  Unfocus your eyes and you should begin to see a bluish grey "envelope" around their body.  This is the first level of the aura.  This is the level in which the physical body is anchored.  It is gridlike in nature and stores the information necessary to create your physical being.   When energy disturbances reach this level, physical infirmities begin to surface.  It is a good place to begin the healing process.  Picture the envelope around your body as healthy and complete.  Iron out any rough spots, patch any holes, adjust it's color.  It is a wonderful visualization while you are laying in bed...take some time to picture whatever Radiant Health means to you.

Hello my little Blognificent Family-I hope you made it through your Friday the Thirteenth with a fun story or two.  An interesting factoid about yesterday's date-the date 10-13-2006 breaks down to 13!!!  Crash course in numerology 1+0+1+3+2+0+0+6=13-ooooooooooohhhhhhhh!  SHPOOOOKY-apparently this has not happened for about 500 or so years-so aren't WE special for living at this moment!!! 

I like the date 10/13 in general-and since X-Files is created by tenthirteen productions., I like to think of it as X-Files day (and in my own random Ex-File, it is the birthday of my Ex Father-In-Law!!!)  I also once had a first date on 10/13 with a carpenter whose last name was WALLS-the fun never stops here in the land of the Great Amoeba!!!  One of my other Cosmic Comedian friends was born on Friday the Thirteenth (of November) and I can tell you from experience that he is quite the Trickster...you know him from other blogs, and I am sure you will see him again in the future...but for now...flashback to yesterday...

Last night the band Dark Star Orchestra came to town (tonight too).  For those of you who may not be familiar, DSO is a Chicago based group who recreates Grateful Dead shows note for note.  They are very good at it, and at the end of each show they tell you what show it was.  Deadicated Heads often pride themselves on knowing the set lists for an impressive amount of shows and there is a fun little game to be played between "experts" of Name That Show.  I have seen them several times-and have been impressed by their skills, but my last show was not so hot...(whole other blog)...Last night, however was a pretty SHMOKIN set, and the vibe was really great.  The Bobby guy really got a workout, and while I lean toward Jerry tunes, this set included a heartfelt Looks Like Rain, into Brown Eyed Women (you know who you are)-into Let It Grow, into a hot Don't Ease (Dough Knees) Me In.  A rockin Bertha, a sweet Morning Dew out of Drumz, twirl, twirl, twirl...music that resets my DNA.  The last song was One More Saturday Night (b/c the original show was on a Saturday Night) and I thought it was funny that they would play that on Friday the Thirteenth, but who am I to say...I will tell you that I got my ticket in Good Ol' Grateful Style...not by paying with cash, but in trade for a "Kind, Veggie, Hairwrap" just like on tour!!!

In related news-Buffalo, New York was blanketed yesterday by a freak snowstorm that dumped two feet of snow on it in a matter of hours!!!  So while we were out here reliving their past, they were back there at a standstill...The symbolism of the Elders Lodge (see blog form about two weeks ago) is alive and well-and obviously I (and you by reading this...) are under it's influence...Great White Buffalo Woman brought the Peace Pipe to the Lakota Tribe.  Pass it on!!!

Woke up Friday the Thirteenth from a dream about my Cosmic Comedians and one of their typical conundrums.  I am a spectator in a small dark theatre.  On stage there appears a tightrope in a spotlight and "the Two" (as in, my twin guides) come out and are performing on it...not such fancy tricks, but as they are performing they become surrounded in this golden flamelike aura that dances and ebbs and flows with them, and I am awestruck by it's beauty...then I see my own Self, and I am given two balloons which are tied to my big toes.  They are black, and I am in black, and when the balloons are tied to me, they lie down as well-I think that it is weird that helium balloons are lying down (oh-and it is!) and when I ask the guides about it they say that I am being grounded.  The death symbolism doesn't escape me (black, lying down, things tied to my toes...YIKES!!!) but I am not afraid it is because I am going to die or anything, .  I believe that it has to do with my mission here now.   So is it because I see being grounded as a death sentence?  Or perhaps it is that I was being told that I AM sufficiently grounded-perhaps almost TOO much so...that I had this dream-HHHMMMMMMMM...let me think on that a bit!

I know that this is a lifetime where I have come to put all of the things I have learned in previous lifetimes into action.  In order to do this, I need a stable base.  It has not been as easy for me to find this as I'd have liked, but I had quite a bit of loose ends to tie up before I could "close the case".  This involves being grounded-rooted in your purpose, and I think that I have had some resistance to that-for one reason or another.

What do you think of when you think about being Grounded?  I have associations with it that are not so positive.  Since I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I lived at least one past life as a circus performer, perhaps this was a memory of a tragic accident ( I am certain that I was a high wire act...whole other blog).  I also lived in this life with a set of parental units who found that by "grounding" me to my room for any and all infractions of their everchanging rules (depending on the amount of alcohol in their system at the time) they didn't actually have to parent me.  (sounds bitter, I know---trust me-it sucked!)  Thankfully I was aware enough to realize that it was their depression creating this situation, and not me, but it definately had it's negative effects on me.  When I think of being grounded, I have my reservations...

Anyway-in order for us to operate on this plane, grounding ourselves is essential.  On days when you feel like your head is in the clouds, it is good to connect your feet with the Earth.  Survival depends on our connection with the Earth-(and how we treat her).  Being grounded is a big part of it. Smoky Quartz can help, as can Tiger Eye, and Garnets.  Once you have the ground firmly planted beneath you, it is possible to reach for the stars without fear of falling...get in touch with your ROOTS!

Made it to work, had a very productive day.  Big fun at the Mushroom House today-one of the employees made it to work only to find that two kittens stowed away under her truck, and made it to work with her...we had them in a box and everyone was trying not to want to take them home.  We decided they were going to be named Maitake-who is a grey and white tabby, (looks like the Chessie Cat) and Porcini-who is a tourtise shell tabby.  Very cute-but come with the usual pet care expenses...I  have enough animals in my house!

Been thinking about something a fellow "healer" said to me last weekend.  She was doing some work on me, showing me this healing form she knows and teaches.   It is really quick, and works on many levels, and helps release past obligations we have taken on-Soul Contracts.  Say in some previous lifetime, you were a Nun or a Priest or something, and took a vow of poverty, or chastity, or both...Your soul does not forget that, and in later lifetimes, where you have not consciously taken those vows, subconsciously, we may still be programmed from the last lifetime, and it can affect your abundance in this one.  Or you have unhealthy attachments to past hurts, etc...Anyway-she was showing me this, and releasing things left and right on me and another person, and herself, when she said to me that I had a "Broken Soul"-did I give her permission to fix it?  Well, Okay...she actually did some things that made sense to me, and there was a change in my energy for the better when she did some work on my heart chakra, and for that I am grateful, but later I got to thinking about the idea that somehow my soul was "broken" and I got pretty defensive about it!!!  I think that a lot of people who are "healers" get caught up in the show of it all.  This person comes up with a lot of information on our "past lives" but it seemed like so many things that she said were really scary, like swords, and hangings, and burning, and fire and brimstone, and we were going to be better off because we were letting go of all of these curses and entities...YIKES!!! 

I really like this person a lot-and feel like we could share a lot of exciting information.  I feel fortunate that she worked on me in a spontaneous manner, and she was giving with no expectation of return.  I really appreciate her enthusiasm.  I do feel like my feelings on this are notable, and that I should let her know that it affected me this way as well.  Maybe we will both take from it a lesson in being gentle.

I feel that while my life has had it's share of ups and downs, (that's what happens when BOTH of your parents are Bi-Polar), it would not have been POSSIBLE for me to have lived the life that I have lived so far if I had a "broken soul".  It is true that she knows little about me, but that is part of the problem with this kind of rapidfire healing technique.  She is bold and dynamic, and I imagine if you said that to someone who was depressed, they could believe that you have healed them, but for me, I feel the Athena within me rise up to challenge the notion that somehow I have not been kicking some serious ass in spite of the things that have come up to try and stop me...I hope that when it comes to helping others I can keep in mind that what I say is very powerful, and that I want to make sure that I am playing up their strengths, not exploiting their weaknesses.  

I am sure that my soul carries with it a number of battle wounds from it's many forays into the depths of incarnation. At the same time, the amount of experience that it carries is like no other, yet somehow it all lies within the subconsciousness of all of us...our souls are amazing creatures...and contrary to popular belief-we are all born with everything we need to be whole.  Enjoy it while it lasts...

This moring is late start at ThingOne and ThingTwo's school, and it always drags my  morning out.  Everything happens an hour later and that includes getting to work-thankfully I have a job that allows me to get there when I can get there, and leave when I need to leave.  Owen gets a solid 6 or 7 hours out of me regularly because I am not under pressure to meet a specific deadline.  The BUS however is a different story-and since Babboo is teaching young children to throw up and catch it at a weeklong workshop in Veneta-he gets the car.  I like to think of this as doing my part to reduce global warming, and I get to read some of the paper.  I guess the lesson for the day is -It doesn't matter how big a hurry you are in, things take time...so take some time to do good things today...Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day to do them...Namaste.

HEY!!!  I really have a whole bunch of things to say, but not enough time to devote to the puter to say it...Waldo Lake, Mushroom Mania, Dark Star Orchestra, phases of the moon-the planets-FOR GODDESS" SAKE-I hope you people haven't been counting on me to help you decide your next move...I guess my advice would be-it's not time yet...but soon, very soon-the seeds you have planted will be ripe for the picking...

Perhaps next time we can cover a couple of Universal Principles...

1.  Principle of Spirituality, or God:  The spirit of God is what lies between Zero and Infinity (and beyond)  All is Nothing/Nothing is All.  

There moves a strand that has no end...

Woke up and padded downstairs.  Passed a playing card on the way to the lou, and picked it up as my fortune for the day-Ace of Hearts-my cup runneth over...I looked around, life has been pretty good, and I am feeling good about where things are at, save for limited time with Babboo, as his schedule continues to be brutal at the Donut Hole.  We are planning to make our annual trek to Waldo Lake (DON'T SAY IT!), however it will be shorter than our usual three or four day outings.  So it is.  The weather wizards are predicting a nice weekend...sigh-Waldo Lake is so pristeen, when you paddle certain parts of it the color is INDIGO, and I swear you feel it before you see it...it's awesome!

I'm feeling like I am in some sort of holding pattern.  Waiting for my next instructions.  I am working on a large mandala, and am making incremental progress.  It is coming along quite nicely.   Tomorrow night is the Aries full moon.  It should spur some action, and the weekend ought to be a good time for us all to get out and enjoy some nature, or just some other folks...I have every intention of having more to say tomorrow-I guess we'll see...keep on keepin on...:)

I say to myself-"Self-if you write that in your blog,  people will think you are making it up."  To which I say that "I have quite the fertile imagination to have been able to make this story up."-to which I reply that "either way-it's a pretty funny story!!!"-and I feel compelled to relate it to you (you LUCKY, LUCKY FOLKS!).  (don't be jealous-the little voices will start talking to you sooner than you think...keep reading!)  One of these days I might actually listen to mySelf...then what?!

Maybe it is just all of the Smoky Porcini Mushroom packages I have been cranking out...The dust may be getting to me... 

First let me tell all the neo-bloglodytes, and Amoeba-phytes, as an aside-that when I lived back in Normal, I lived on Elder St. and my locks and keys were from a company called Weiser-so the joke was that I was "Elder and Weiser" for living there.  Then I moved here-and immediately into a house with a roomate who's last name happened to be Weiser...coincidence?  A Random chance or Luck?  It really is fun to be me!  While this may seem like an odd tidbit...I assure you it was one of the cornerstones of my next story,

Anyway, I was at Reiki on Saturday night and it was a rather small turnout, just 5 of us practitioners of various degrees.  We were working on one of the other members who told us he had been getting ready to go on a trip back East for a wedding, and to visit some family.  I was sitting at the head of the table, and  I kept seeing these images that were all about Native American symbols-specifically Bobcat, the White Buffalo, the Winter Hare, and I kept hearing "the Elder's Lodge" and "the White Lodge," over and over again.  When we were finished, I told him about it and he told me that he was going to be helping his Mother (Elder) move out of her house (Lodge), and also that the wedding that he was going (and going to be the photographer for) was going to be held at a Vermont State Park known as "Seyler Lodge"-(apparently it is a big, WHITE Lodge!)  What a moment, to have intuited such clear information-I'm SO EXCITED-   

Whenever this happens, I believe I am privy to it so that I might learn from it as well, and gosh-while I'm at it-I might as well pass it on to you...and we can all be on the same blogpage!!!

The Elder's Lodge occupies the North in the Four Directions.  It is associated with Winter, White, Air, Animal, Mind Power, and Ancestors.    The power of the North is expressed through the Mind, and the way we mentally approach life, and about our beliefs and philosophies.  It is about purification and renewal.  It is the resting time and the time of introspection.  The North has an inner strength, and the ability to turn fluid situations into more permanent structure (water into ice...) but must do so with warmth and compassion instead of cold practicality.  Think about ways to incorporate that into your day!  Knowledge is only of value to the Inner Self when it is transformed into wisdom by love.  It is the signs of Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces, and is all about ancient wisdom.  What have you learned from your Elders, and how has that helped you make Wiser (or in my case Weiser) decisions.

We are approaching that time of the year, and now are in the place where we should be preparing to slow down, enjoy the company of our families, and friends, and thinking about what we want to incubate over the Winter to plant in the Spring.   Right now, take a cue from the squirrels, and gather your nuts (yes, I do mean family too) and prepare your nest...you have some reading to catch up on...

 The Vagal Nerve.  This little goody was brought to my attention by someone who saw a post I made on an astrology group I belong to and for whatever reason she contacted me with this information out of the blue.  I found it to be very interesting, especially since I have been having an amazing experience with the throat chakra ever since the beginning of the month when I had this vision during a meditation of the OM symbol coming in and implanting itself in my throat.  It made me very conscious of that chakra and I have been intoning it whenever I can for the last couple of weeks.   Obviously it is working, because this is the nerve that is stimulated when you chant OM-I am sure the Great Amoeba wants me to pass this on to you as well (communication is the name of the throat chakra game after all!)

   The Vagal (or Vagus) Nerve is actually a bundle of nerves that connects the brain to vital organs.  It runs through the throat and is stimulated by the larynx (voicebox).  It is a parasympathetic nerve bundle which means that it is part of the system that regulates involuntary muscles and aids digestion, heart rate, respiration, etc...they are finding that stimulation of this nerve can help curb epileptic seizures.  While many nerves work when we are stimulated for action-i.e. fight or flight response, this bundle works when we are in no danger and is part of what is often called the "rest and digest" system.  This bundle of nerves connects the facial muscles to the heart, and helps control our responses to other people.  Activity in this nerve is being found to relate to how well we get along with others.  People with high levels of activity in this nerve tend to be able to read the emotions of others, and are usually quite empathic.  Some are calling it the nerve of compassion. 

When it is working properly, it sends cues to all of your vital organs to relax and unwind.   Something you can do to strengthen it is relax, chant OMmmmmmmmmmmm.....and see if you can follow it though your body.  And when someone tells you that you are "on their last nerve", smile and picture it being this one-and take it as a compliment!

Now repeat after me...OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM>>>

Ask and Ye shall receive.  I said NIGHT WORK and BOOM-I got it-I not only started having some of the most detailed and extensive dreams, I also started a temp job packaging mushrooms (the legal ones-Damn HIPPIE!) for a very small place that some friends of mine work at.  This is the season for mushrooms, and they needed some extra hands, and since Saturday Market will be ending soon, I needed some extra income...WIN-WIN!  Then-as if that were not enough, Baboo's assistant at the Donut Hole ducked out on him in the middle of the week, and I was called in to provide backup for a couple of days.  Next time this happens I told the boss I am charging an EMERGENCY FEE for my services on top of the hourly wage!  I have no desire to be the Donut HO. 

Only a couple of things to catch you up on.  First of all, I wanted to share with you one of the dreams that I had (in the limited amount of sleep that I got!)   It was all about math.  I was laying there looking at a dream ceiling when I started to receive instruction through a laser light show.  There were lasers that were making geometric patterns on the ceiling, and then there was this narrative voice showing me how "the corners were not finite points, but the starting points for refraction and triangulations that created patterns which become pictures and great works of art!"  It played into this vision that I had during my last Reiki attunement where I saw these mechanical DaVinci type wings on either side of my energy body.  I LOVE THIS GAME!!!  I am not sure how this applies to your life-how do you feel about math?  Have you ever looked into Sacred Geometry?  Fascinating whether you like math or not!!!

Yesterday the sun moved into Libra, and fall officially began.  It is the time of year to get ready to settle in for the winter...store up your harvest, and prepare for hibernation.  There is a lot to be learned about Squirrel energy at this time...I will talk about that in an upcoming blog shortly-I promise.  This is completely backwards if you are in the Southern Hemisphere where it is just now starting to be Spring, but for me right now that is too much to think about...so have fun with that Down There (you know who you are!) 

The sun's transit of Virgo highlighted ways in which we go about our work.  I can tell you that at both the Lunar and Solar eclipses I was doing things for others that had little to do with what it is I want to be doing.  It was a very interesting study in the way that I utilize my energies.  I will usually drop my own stuff to help others out-especially if I am going to make a buck or two in the process.  This is often not so good for my art business, as it takes energy away form it, but in some respects what I am doing right now in the Mush-Room is learning about product packaging and distribution, which is something I have been feeling like I need to work on.  I have learned over the years to cultivate my "day jobs" for information that is usefull for my real life's work, and I can see the benefits of the knowledge that I am obtaining already...I know that it is exactly what I asked for.  Lucky me.

Libra is all about partnerships and friendships.  Today happens to be my Mom's birthday (lol-she just logged onto the IM!!!)  There is a really strong visionary aspect to today due to Jupiter in Scorpio making a Square with Neptune in Aquarius.  This is all about luck in visualization.  Take some time out today to tune into what it is you want to see happen for yourself.  You might be surprised by what your subconscious shows you is possible.  MANIFEST YOUR DESTINY!!!  Work issues shift seamlessly into creatng harmony....OMMMM..be your own best friend.
