Good morning...happy Daylight Savings Time. One of the fun things about time is that we get to decide what to do with it. Today we got an extra hour...how did you spend yours? I kinda slept in, but with the change, I got up at a reasonable hour anyway...but not before having some really hi-def dreams that were positively time travel!!! The place I can remember as being the start of this dream festival was on this road that was winding through some mountains in what I feel now was Italy, or possibly Sweden, but in the late summer...pretty golden sunshine, very narrow winding roads and a very large lake at the bottom of the valley. We go to a large home which overlooks the lake and in a way it reminds me of the movie Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events...the one that Meryl Streep lives in, but the place she lived in was kind of creepy, and she was overcome by fear. This was not the case in my dream. The home was beautiful and the side that faced the lake had windows all along it, and they were very well made and the woodwork was very decorative. There was a staircase we were climbing and you could see the lake all the way up the house. We went to the second floor and I was having feelings that I had known this house before and that I was related to the people who lived there. I remember taking in the details. There was a sense of isolation from it's remote location, yet it was very beautiful. Then the next thing I recall, I was somewhere completely different...almost like I was at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL. When we were little we lived in Wisconsin and my mom took us there as kids once or twice a year. My dad worked near there and the trip day meant we got to visit him at his Aviation Supply job-I always thought it was ultra cool to go back and look at the airplane parts in the warehouse...It was located near O'Hare Airport and the jets would fly right over the place...the whole day was a big event. We would get to go to Marshall Field's toy department and pick out these little tiny porcelain headed dolls and accessories...pretty amazing things for three small girls!!! Anyway in the dream I find small dolls at this place, but they are little Egyptian fetish dolls and I am talking to the woman selling them and she regresses me back to the Lake House from the last part of the dream!!! But this time as I am walking up the stairs, there is a person there, but I can tell he exists in another time period, He is sitting in a large, old style (caned back and seat) wheelchair. He has a pipe and is staring out at the lake. He is comfortable, just very old. He also appears very kind...however his riches were not gained all from kindness on every level, and in his past he has taken advantage of people close to him. He is past that now though, yet still needs some forgiveness. Maybe from me? I give it. I am brought back and I am talking to the woman with the dolls, and I tell her he was mostly human, but with the legs of a Jackal...she asks if I had seen Annubis, but I don't think so at this point. The jackal legs are from the part of him who "walked on his fellow man." She nods in agreement as I look through the Fetish Dolls for the one that I want to buy from her. It is an amazing array of small dolls all made from clay with leather and feathers...at the end of it all I am sitting waiting for a bus, and a girl next to me has one of the dolls too. We get to talking about them, and make a new old friend... hmmm.... Today I am meditating on the idea that I should forgive myself for "walking on my fellow man, woman and/or child" in this and any other lifetime that I may have been involved in this...We all have our weak moments...my aplogies...OOOOMMMMMM..........

Happy Halloween weekend my darling Bloglodytes...the ghost in this machine is also experiencing her own Mercury Retrograde technical difficulties and I am not able to give you the link that I had intended to where you can carve your own pumpkin. I'll try again later. I am having a rather subdued evening with Things One and Two out at their alternate biological parental unit's domicile on the coast for the weekend, and Babboo locked up at the Donut Dungeon as usual...It's just me and the DAWGS... I think I'll crank up the Latent 80's show on KWVA and dance like an idiot in the dark! (Speaking of KWVA-congrats to mr.random for winning Eugene's Best BLOGGER...if I was anyone but me, I might pale in your shadow...glad to knowya...that goes for the little mrs. as well...BLOGLOVE...) As for the rest of you...when is the last time you danced like an idiot in the dark... GET ON WITH IT!!!

This week at the Mush Room, we have been doing a lot of odd little cleaning jobs because we are having Mercury Retrgrade style difficulties communicating with the travel of the bags that we are waiting on for packaging said product. They have been in our very burg since Monday, but due to billing wonders and woes they remain at the distribution center...and alas today there was nothing left to do but (smile, smile, smile...?) go home!!! I did, however notice on my way to work that at the main intersection that I turn off at to go to my place of employment...there is a sign at a storage facility that people have taken to writing inspirational thoughts on...Today's message? It said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHELLE"...I just to laugh. (for contest rules, see two blogs back. Perhaps they have me confused with my Cozmik Twin...but her birthday is not until November 6th! (you know who you are!)
If it makes you feel better, you can pretend it's my birthday and we can have our cake and eat it too...YAY!!!

Maybe I am just being influenced by the early morning slanted goldan sunshine creeping through the climbing rosebush (roseBEAST) and making it's gentle way through my window...maybe it's the dogs...Ruby and Tyrone had their morning chuckit binge and they are laying in their warm spots breathing gently. Maybe it's because the house is quiet and I have a warm belly full of malt o meal. Guess it's a combination of all of these things. OOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM...

According to the Secret Language of Birthdays, it is the Day of Substantive Form and the meditation for it is "Open your heart and let the sun shine in." I'm all for it. Tonight's Picasso Moon is in Sagittarius which may give us a little giddy in our ups...Sagittarius is light hearted and loves to learn. A fun companion...there's lots of room for you on the Band Wagon...Come out and Play! I have a funny little coincidence to report this evening...First a bit of the backstory...for the seasoned Bloglodytes among you bear with me as I catch the new kids up to speed. Once upon a time(ten years ago) in a town called Normal (where I really did live) I spent Halloween in the dentist's chair having a ROOT CANAL---EEEEEEEEEKKKKK---scariest Halloween EVER!!! SO...there was once this band called Spookytooth and I named my new crown after it. Well...the darn thing has haunted me since then, and this last Spring I got my THIRD-and hopefully it was a charm-crown (Princess that I am) From my new dentist out here...SO YESTERDAY I got two things in the mail...a Halloween card from my friend Cozmik...thank you very much...and a Happy Birthday Postcard...sent from my dentist...saying it's my time to shine...with a star and a tooth on it...EEEEKKKKKKK...If it's such a Cozmic frickin tooth, why doesn't it play music like Lori on the Partridge Family...who needs and IPod? My luck it would play Dreamweaver ad infinitum... (I hope to hear you giggling Samadhi Hottie...)

Good Morning to all. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was absolute autumn splendiferous here in the Upper Left US. I woke up singing two songs-Seasons, and something by Crosby Stills and Nash-but now I am not sure which one. Both were very soothing. AHHHH...then it became Monday. Welcome to Scorpio. Yesterday we had a major shift from Libra's relationship balancing act into the depths of Mystical Scorpio. Their signature is "I Create" and they are the sign of Birth, Death, and Regeneration (all matters of matter). Scorpio is a Water sign, and I can tell you from experience that there is quite a bit of depth to it! Scorpios are passionate and intense with a love of mystery, but don't try to keep a secret from them! As the Sun transits Scorpio from now until November 22 it will be joined by Mercury, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter to create some dynamic transformations in our love lives. Mercury is giving Jupiter a little jolt and fortune favors the bold...Got a Goal? Go for it... P.s. Mercury goes retrograde this Saturday until November 17. Since it is dancing in the sky with both the Sun and Jupiter, it will serve to remind us that EVERY DAY IS A LUCKY DAY!!! Take all you can get!!!

Wow, It's Friday. I can hardly believe it, having had the middle of the week off, it feels like Tuesday. It is also Tuesday weather, so it adds to the timelessness. So I started this meditation this week where I decided to fill all of my vertebrae and discs and nerve bundles up with light. It has really been very relaxing, and honestly, my back is responding quite nicely. I start by focusing soft light on the spots that are the most sore, and then I try to relax them. When that is done I start by picturing my spine, and I think about each vertebrae and I make it light up in my third eye. I like to start at the base of my cranium, and then go down all the way to the tailbone and back up. Once I have done that I picture the spots between the vertebral spines that the nerves run through, and I try to feel them as I concentrate on their location. I try to roll a warm ball of energy up and down my spine, and have recently come to adding the colors of the spectrum to the visualization. I try to pay attention to places where the energy wants to slow down, or more likely, skip over. The place in the body that it skips over is probably a sore spot, and by sending the energy of light over it, you chase away the "shadows". When I have covered the whole spine, I concentrate on the tailbone, and bring light up through it, all the way out the top of my head, where it showers down around me like a fountain (not to be confused with Babboo). It is very comforting to be full of light, and with practice I am able to carry it longer and longer through my day...hope it works for you like it has been for me.

It's one of those timeless mornings where you can't tell where the sun is in the sky because the grey is so evenly distributed and the threat of rain makes you want to lay and listen to the drops fall on the roof until you feel like padding downstairs and making yourself a simple yet wholesome breakfast complete with newspaper to spread all over the living room...sigh. Sorry-not for me today-already spent most of the morning running the kids and the dog-but thankfully not the phone. I've got to get to work-it is going to be an easy day today as we still can't do any packaging...I enjoyed my impromptu days off greatly. The next couple of days we should be gearing up for this weekend, saving some energy today and tomorrow for what promises to be a really nice weekend to socialize and appreciate friends and family. Today seems like a good day to meditate on these words which are the 5 principles of Reiki. This weekend, I will be learning about the planes and sub-planes of the universe. I'll keep you informed...Until then... Just for today, do not anger Just for today do not worry Respect your parents, teachers, and elders Earn your living honestly Show gratitude for all that has life. Namaste...

Looks like we're having technical difficuties here today-can't change my fonts and a couple of pictures on my home page are being funky, but these things have a way of happening when the imps are alive in your system--- Today is looking like it is going to be another day in Pacific Northwest Paradise...sunny and crisp-orange, yellow and red trees on a sea of the bluest sky. Ahhhhh, mountains, forests, rivers, desert and ocean...it's pretty sweeet! As an added bonus, I have had the last couple of days off from the Mush Room as we are waiting for more bags for packaging to arrive. It's a Dog's life-which involves plenty of naps, snacks, and play...not necessarily in that order. My most important job today is to make sure that Tyrone gets to play with his best friend Mona Lisa's Ruby Ridge...(call it art...)Nice to have some time to sweep up the cobwebs and the dust bunnies-though it is tempting just to tell people I have been growing them for Halloween. Hoping I don't find a MUMMY at the bottom of the laundry pile-sometimes I think it may have been there since the time of the Pharoes...and if you look at it just right it is Pyramid in nature...HMMM. Sometimes it is good to sink yourself into the mundane tasks and enjoy them for what they are...LIFE as we know it. On the ASTOLOGY front, this Sunday marks the new moon in Libra. It will be next to the Sun, and they will be flanked on either side by Venus and Mars. This is a POWERFUL PEACEFUL PLACEMENT. Libra is about Fairness and Balance (and I am NOT talking FOX news here...) and this configuration balances night, and day, war/male(mars) and love/female (venus). All is FAIR!!! Add to that MERCURY-planet of communication, conjunct (hanging out with...) Jupiter, the planet of Luck and Expansion, in Scorpio...the mystical...and squaring (sticking their tongues out at...) Saturn (father time) the planet of truth and restriction, in LEO...the planet of the Showman (and the Babbooo). All that stuff in Libra makes it about Family, Friendships, and Partnerships, both business and pleasure. What would it take to make yours both... ...ART MAKES LIFE MAKES ART MAKES LIFE MAKES...

So the other day I was blogging on about the Principles of the Universe-of which there are twelve-just like all the good, self-help programs. And for those of you who are behind in your studies, the first of these is the Principle of Spirituality (or God)-Accept that there is a force beyond your capacity to control everything (still working on this one)..."The Spirit of God soared over the Abyss"-between 0 and Infinity, All is God. So, today I have been considering #2, which is the Principle of Information...The Cosmic Internet..."And God Said"...-Information is EVERYWHERE and all the units exchange infomation through this informational energy field...the ETHER. Our Etheric energy body is visible to most people who are willing to give it a try. Have one of your friends stand by a plain, light colored wall...not in direct light. Unfocus your eyes and you should begin to see a bluish grey "envelope" around their body. This is the first level of the aura. This is the level in which the physical body is anchored. It is gridlike in nature and stores the information necessary to create your physical being. When energy disturbances reach this level, physical infirmities begin to surface. It is a good place to begin the healing process. Picture the envelope around your body as healthy and complete. Iron out any rough spots, patch any holes, adjust it's color. It is a wonderful visualization while you are laying in bed...take some time to picture whatever Radiant Health means to you. All is Well....OOOOMMMMM............
